cece- sighed before knocking on the door holding karkats phone in her hand

"I...was told she was a Australian Shepherd but...I wouldn't know m-myself." She says, tilting her head a bit too hear better, growing nervous at the thought of being out this long. It could be getting dark. The city was dangerous at dark.

He tilted his head to the side, confused. How would she not know what kind of dog it was? He examined her face, but she didn't look like she was lying, just really nervous. He wasn't totally sure, but her eyes didn't look like normal human eyes. He'd never seen a blind human before, but he could see the similarities between her and the only blind troll he'd ever met. "...Are you blind?" he asked hesitantly. He didn't know if that was a sensitive topic or something, and now he's kind of regretting saying it. He hoped she wasn't the kind to take offense so easily.

Eris heard a splash, and she knew it wasn't her, she looked at where the water rippled (is it the same lake?), she thought she saw something until she saw a shadow or more likely the reflection, she gulped down fear like she usually did and looked up, there she saw a troll, she knew this species due to encountering them more or so often before. Eris fell backwards a bit shocked, which she shouldn't be because Eris was usually brave, at least that's what she thinks. The midget human scanned the troll, he certainly wasn't like any other troll she met, but Oh gobble, those wings! She thought, the magnificent wings that wowed her, she let out a gasp of wow, every moment was dangerous, every moment was safe, she didn't know which one so Eris just sat there, deciding to make a conversation her voice stuttered out "W-Who are you?" She asked, her voice was gentle like a flower in the soft breeze, her brown eyes fluttered quickly like a hummingbird for a second before keeping her eyes locked onto the troll that hovered at least two meters above the water.

He stared at the human several metres away from him as she stared back at him, then realized what an idiot he must look like, hovering over the water and staring like a wiggler who has just been given the pail talk. Her timid, stuttered question was so different from the outburst he'd initially heard that he almost didn't realize that she'd actually said something, as he was so shocked at the difference in tone. Once the question did manage to register in his mind, he was quick to answer. "My name's Rufioh, uh, Nitram... what about you, doll?" He wasn't really used to talking with humans, as most of the people he knew and interacted with were trolls, but this one seemed alright. The pendant around his neck suddenly felt heavier, its weight pressing on his nearly-bare collar much more noticeably than usual.

kankri ran his fingers through his hair before looking up at the sound of the door opening. he glanced to the door, sighing softly. "karkat, this is kononi. kononi, karkat." he pressed his lips together for a second before exhaling through his nose, sitting up a bit straighter.

karkat was just about to say something before sighing and going over to the door. Opening it up he noticed cece. Looking closer he noticed she had his phone. Mentally face palming he huffed "I left my phone didn't I?"

glitch system hated the ocean. she hated water. she hated anything remotely close to it. yet she found herself on the beach. it was silent- absolutely silent. the only sound was the waves rolling up on the shoreline and her feet moving through the sand. and she liked it better this way. at her hive, the only thing that existed was fury: burning hate, harsh daggers, lost causes. she removed herself from that as often as she possibly could, for the better. her eyes wandered a bit before drawing down to the sand beneath her bare feet. a shudder passed through her body, causing her to instinctively grab her arm and rub it.

The waves were lulling. Almost zoning out lacuna noticed someone not far off. Her pace quickened slightly, but thanks to the ssnd it seemed to be more of a normal pace on hard land. Smaller things in the sand poked and prodded her underfoot. Being on the beach for as long as she could remember, it was quickly gotten use to. Finally catching up to the mystery person She drew a blank on what to say. "..."
