It's not exactly surprising, the answer she's given- paddle boats were boring as hell. Literally no one ever willingly went in one probably, but in the zombie apocalypse things kind of changed- things got desperate pretty much, "I have no idea-" she gives a simple, careless shrug, "I'm sure sometime in my life, like when I was a kid or something and had to go to summer camp or whatever," which normally was actually fun as far as she could remember things, it was really just a lot of being around people and doing activities- pretty simple and easy to do, "I mean- it's not that hard, you'll know when something is going wrong because we'll end up just being stuck going in circles instead of actually going anywhere."

Carl

____________

"I never really went to summer camp," Carl shared as he lowered his paddle back into the water and moved it experimentally in the water. The movement caused thin ripples to shatter the still water. "I wanted to go once," He mused, paddling the oar again. It didn't really seem to do much good. Carl couldn't help the slight envy in his voice. Naturally he'd be jealous of the opportunities Sonia had that he didn't. It wasn't like he was mad at her or anything, because it was hardly her fault, but it was his natural reaction. Shrugging it off, he continued. "I guess it's a good thing you've done this before," He teased, changing his tone from longing to light.

Giving a curious, ever-so-slight tilt of her head, she watches his reactions carefully just giving a little shrug, "It wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Half of the time you're either homesick and covered in dirt and sweat and the other half of the time you're covered in sunburns and poison and pretending to be nice to other people," it was scarily true unfortunately- it's not like she's just saying that to make him feel better. Well, maybe a bit of it was an over-exggaeration but that didn't matter. Brushing off the conversation, she figures it'd go much easier if she actually started to use the oar she had just been holding over her lap, "Oh, yeah- If I actually remember anything, of course," what was it? One person paddles one way, the other person the other? God, its been too long.

Naomi;
Naomi noticed out of the corner of her eye when Daryl looked in her direction as the girl told him that she had a pocket knife on her. She knew that Daryl would most likely talk to her about it later. The part that sucked about it was she didn't even pull it out to use it, the girl was the one to draw her weapon on her first. The girl finally handed her weapons over when Daryl demanded them, a little reluctantly. To be honest, she had no business here. Then again, the girl could just be looking for some protection in a group like she was. Naomi did give her some credit for coming all the way out here by herself, or so she thought, just to find the source of a gunshot. She figured that he'd take the girl into the camp so their leader could figure out what to do with her, so she leaned back against the tree once more. Naomi wasn't just going to follow them in or let any fresh meat lay out in the open by itself. It's practically Walker bait.

Claire took slow, steady steps while walking with Lauren down the road. She ran her tongue along her lips and looked over at Lauren, "Hey...Lauren..?" She started to ask, afraid to spit out the next part, "When do you think we'll find..people?" She muttered the last word, terrified to bring it up. She ran her fingers through her curly blue hair and she looked back own at her feet.

Carl

____________

"Then it looks like I didn't miss much," Carl remarked at Sonia's evaluation. Actually, being at summer camp kind of sounded like being in the apocalypse. Carl dipped his oar deeper into the water. The boat tipped with the tug of the two different oars, wobbling across the surface of the lake. After a moment, he withdrew his own paddle and laid it across his lap. "I think here might be an okay part to start," He said, reaching down and picking up his fishing pole. "Do you want to try first?" Carl asked as he toed the tackle box closer to Sonia's leg.

Brianna

Brianna looked over at the woman. The woman didn't seem like a threat at all, but Brianna didn't either. Brianna personally liked looking like she wasn't a threat. She then looked over at the man. The man didn't hide anything about being a threat, in fact he seemed to use it. Brianna continued to watch the scence, as it was now below her.

Right, right- pretty much the same conditions were in place here, too. Just on a different kind of level- it's not summer camp here, it's more like the whole fight for survival and whatnot. Nobody's going to be finger-painting and making bird houses. But hey- they are fishing, that's a pretty domestic activity. As long as you didn't think about the fact that people would only be fishing to get food or else everyone will starve to death. Once again she's only brought out of her thoughts when she's spoken to- moving to glance over to Carl again for a few moments before looking down to the tackle box nudged closer to her, "What? Oh-" at least she actually knew how to fish, "Oh, sure, I guess," it took a few seconds there for her to even process the question, but then she's leaning down to snatch for her own pole.

Daryl reached out, taking one sai before the other, He must be some sight with all these weapons. He looked over at Naomi as he started talking, intending to mention that he couldn't find Rick at the moment. He wasn't sure what he'd do, he definitely didn't feel like going out of his way once more today to find him. Maybe he could just sit around, wait for Rick to appear to go and talk to him about the one - now two - new women. Everything ran through his head as he opened his mouth to speak. "Rick ain't nowhere 'round right now... I'm going to check with the others, see if they know. Can i trust ya two ta not fight 'gain?" He questioned the two, the first part of his statement targeted for Naomi, the second for them both. He was planning on checking with Carl, he'd know where his dad was if anybody.
