Kaii shivered greatly, curling up in a ball to try and warm up. "Toronto," she murmured. "I bet they don't have problems like this in Toronto..." She looked to Dean. "I know what it's like. I threw the rocks once. Never again. Never again."

Dean crouched next to her, warming up his scales and wrapping his wings around her to try and warm her up. "What do you mean 'you threw the rocks once'? Are you saying you did something in your past?" he asked softly.

Jaidex looked up at Runepriest. "Just please try to calm down." He begged.

Kaii lifted her head. "Dean, I'm fine. I'm just a little cold. We need to help Runepriest. We need to stop him before he does something!" She wasn't answering the question. Not now. "We need to... God I've hung out with him several months and yet I know nothing about him!"

Dean looked back at where Rune was wreaking havoc and suggested, "Well, we could try knocking him out. Do you think that would work?"

"Calm? Calm?!" I burst out laughing again. "This, coming from the guy literally fueled by adrenalin? Oh, that is rich." I draw the rune for star and a massive meteor fills the sky above me. "I've been calm all my life. I've toed the line, I haven't hurt anyone, I've upheld your precious morals. Well, no more. Do you remember the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs? The cataclysm that destroyed Altantis?" I pointed to myself with my thumb. "That was my people's work." I raised my hand to the sky, and the meteor began to fall. "I am Erin Drake, last of the Runepriests," I say, "And I will continue my Legacy!"

Jaidex let out a groan. "So let me get this straight?" Jaidex asked. "You're going to destroy the Earth just for five minutes of power?"

"Who said anything about earth?" I say. "I wouldn't destroy that, I live there. No, I think that this city and all of you will suffice." The meteor begins to glow as it heats up in the atmosphere. "I'd say you have, oh, maybe thirty minutes to live." I say, folding my arms. "I suggest you make good use of that time."

Danasi thought and decieded there was one thing she could try. she wasn't sure it would work but her mother used to do this to her when she was upset and what did she have to lose? she flew up behind Runepriest and pulled his forehead back a little. then with her two fingers she pressed them into a special spot on the center of his back. a pressure piont if you will, and it always made her calm down.

Protection runes blaze to life on my back. "Nice try," I say, grinning insanely. "But I'm afraid I can't have you touching me. I have personal space issues." I draw a wind rune in the air, and feel my hair blasted back as a gale wind blows behind me.
