That was exactly what Jaidex needed, a nice life threatening situation to give him a good dose of adrenaline. He slammed his fist into the icicle right before it fell and it shattered into a million pieces. "They gave you that power. They control the Ruin. They control you." He shouted.

Dean peeled himself out of the rubble and called, "Jaidex is right Rune. Your power is only there because it was given to you. What makes you think that they'll let you continue using it? If you keep this up, they'll see you as a threat and remove you from the equation as quickly as possible."

[InfectedHau]

"So what?" I say, tracing an earth rune on the ground. "I'll burn that bridge when I come to it, they can control me all they want until then." The ground rumbles, and a jagged fissure opens, snaking its way towards Jaidex. "Besides," I say, shouting over the noise. "If what you say is true, then it's either die to you or die to them. At least I get to have some fun this way!"

Danasi watched Runepriest. "if you choose power over your freinds you have no conscience at all! if you were in your right mind you would beat yourself up for acting the way you are!" she flew toward Jaidex, lifting him up before the ground swallowed him and set him down away from the hole.

Jaidex turned around and started to run away from the fissure, He stumbled as Danasi grabbed him and almost fell when she set him down. "Why would we kill you?" He asked, "you're obviously being controlled."

(Sorry, had work. I'm not going to try to get Kaii out of that one.)

Kaii, soaking up sun rays to get more energy for her powers, was unable to move in time. The ice spread surprisingly fast up her legs and torso, freezing her in mid-turn, fists clenched, mouth open as a sentence was never begun. She was covered in a thick shell of ice, unable to move anything. She was like a status covered in a smooth blue translucent marble. If this day gets any worse I'll move to Toronto. Canadians probably don't have this happening too often, she thought to herself.

"But being sane is so dreadfully boring." I say to the dragon girl. "All that senseless worrying about being careful, all the trying not to break anything, not to break anyone. It's so much more fun to just let loose, and screw the consequences." I draw more runes, and blades of fire surround me. "Supergirl knows what I'm talking about." I say. "We're both gods living in a world of glass. The only difference between us is that I have the guts to throw rocks." I send the blades flying towards the heroes, another maniacal laugh bursting from my lips.

Jaidex jumped out of the way of the fire and felt the fire burn the hair off his arms. He suddenly wished he was still wearing his hoodie. "Yes, but insanity hurts." He yelled back. "I know, I have paranoid Schizophrenia."
(I'm developing Jaidex a little more, hope you don't mind)

Dean saw the predicament that Kaii was in and flew up, catching her before she smashed into the ground. Setting her down on the street, out of Rune's eyesight, he wrapped his tail around it and squeezed slowly. The ice soon cracked and shattered, freeing her from the cold prison. Letting his tail drop to the ground, he asked, "Are you alright?"

(omg "being sane is so dreadfully boring"? That's totally me! XD though I don't try to kill my friends... Usually. XD)
Danasi folded her wings in front of her, the flames rolling harmlessly against her fire proof scales. "you might think that way now." Danasi replied. "but you'll look back on this and realize just how wrong you are! Not only that but you would have lost your friends!"
