Superhero RP (New and Accepting!!)

"I don't care what Victor's doing to my head," I say, drawing more runes. "Someones gonna set this world on fire, and I'd rather it be me. And besides, I like myself so much more this way. I don't have to worry about running out of energy, or not knowing the right runes to draw. The Ruin gives me all the energy I need, and Victor showed me every rune ever drawn. Now, nobody can stop me!" Bolts of fire, blasts of wind, spears of ice, and spikes of earth fly from the runes I drew, filling the air with a maelstrom of deadly projectiles.

Jaidex let out a curse as the gold chains wrapped around him. "What the heck, man?" He asked, "what's wrong with you?" He strained at the chains and started gnawing at them.

"You mean what's right with me," I say, still laughing maniacally. "This stuff has made me a god, so I figure it's time to start smiting people!"

Jaidex laughed. "Yeah, fine, whatever, scumbag." He said dryly. "So what? You kill out your friends for power? That sounds pretty good. I guess. except there is one small, And probably fatal, problem with your reasoning."

"Please," I say, still laughing. "I'm more powerful than all of you combined, you're all unnecessary now. Besides, It's not like you can stop me. Believe me, you would gladly kill anyone for this kind of power."

Jaidex gave Runepriest a wry smile. "I never said you weren't." He answered. "And I hate power. So no I wouldn't. But There is always someone more powerful than you. That's right, the people that gave you this power. And those people, your new 'friends,'" he made air quotes. "Have convinced you to kill your friends for this power. What makes you think they won't do the same to you."

"They can try," I say, "But they won't. I just have to go along with their plans, and I get to keep this for as long as I want it. You, your friends, this whole planet- let them burn, I don't care. Right now, I'm the strongest being in the universe, and I intend to keep it that way."

You can't do this! I won't let you!

I stumble, briefly dazed, and the chains holding Jaidex and his friend dissolve. "What the..." I say, holding a hand to my head. "What was that? Who said that?"

Jaidex stumbled and almost fell to the ground. Was his plan working? "Ha, like they would ever let you into their group. You may not be 'good' anymore, but they will see you that way. You were good once, so they will never ever let you join them. They won't trust you, no matter what you do, they will never trust you. Once you kill us, you will be unnecessary too and they will kill you." He said.

"I know what that power feels like Rune. Trust me...it's not worth it," Dean said, trying to get through to him before he was suddenly thrown from his feet and sent flying into a building, burying him in rubble.

"Don't make me laugh," I say, laughing anyway. "You barely got a taste of the Ruin's true power. They can't kill me. No one can. As long As I have the Ruin behind me, I'm unstoppable." I drew an ice rune, and a massive icicle appeared over Jaidex's head. "You, on the other hand, are delightfully squishy. I'm going to enjoy splattering your guts across the pavement." With a flick of my hand, I let the icicle fall.
