"Then make it your responsibility! Find a way to bring Jiko back. Heck, maybe Kaii can do it. IF she survives."

Hiro's last sentence came out sounding like a hiss.

"I think this is as good a time as any to bow out. I'll be back later," Raven replied softly as he looked from one to the other. He stepped outside, spread his wings and took off, heading into space to find the ship containing the unconscious Kaii.

Dean's tail knocked Hiro back and pinned him down. "That's enough Hiro!! I'm sorry that you lost Jiko. I'm sorry that things didn't work out for you. But you know what? That happens! Life isn't fair and it never will be. This is in no way Victor's fault. None of us could have planned for what happened. Even the best plans, with months of strategy and well thought out processes, can fail in a single moment. I've seen it happen countless times. If you want to get angry at someone, get angry at the man who actually caused this: Lex Luthor. We caught a lucky break, finding Kaii still alive up there. And maybe she can find a way to bring Jiko back. But until then, you need to remember that life isn't fair and death doesn't care who anyone is. It happens to us all and nothing can change that," he said firmly, his voice in a snarl at first then softening to a firm tone. His amber eyes glared dangerously down at the boy as he spoke.

Baymax pulled Dean off of Hiro, and gave Hiro a sedative.

"He'll be alright."

Hiro's eyesight blurred. Then there was darkness.

Anastasia looked to Veela and said after a while, "how do you even know who I am? I died along with my family. Long ago."

Victor gave a sigh of relief. "Idiot boy," he murmured to himself.

"He's not an idiot, Victor. He's just hurting and mourning the loss of Jiko. Those two were pretty close from what I understand. I've seen what grief does to people. Sometimes they lash out at everyone and sometimes they retreat into themselves. Everyone reacts differently. He just needs time to get over it," Dean replied softly as he glanced over at Hiro then looked at Victor.

Raven grunted as he finally broke through the atmosphere and began looking for the ship. It didn't take long to find it as it rather stood out from the space debris. He flew towards it and looked inside the cockpit, trying to see if he could spot Kaii inside.

Kaii lay on the floor of the ship. Victor was right. She had changed. Most of her clothes had burned off, but her cousin's cape -able to withhold such temperatures, remained with her, and covered her. It looked like she was made of pure fire. She was translucent, orange. The second Raven approached the shuttle, her eyes opened. They too were completely see through and orange. She didn't move from her spot.

Victor sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "You're right. But I wish he wouldn't blame others for something that could have happened to anyone." He turned his attention back to the computer. "Ah. Two heartbeats. Raven found her."

Raven jumped slightly when Kaii's eyes snapped open. Staring back at her, he muttered, "Oh boy....this could be a problem." Staying near the ship, he reached out with his mind and called, "Um Dad? I think we might have a bit of a problem here."

Dean shrugged saying, "It's how some people cope. He'll eventually get over it, I hope." He looked down at the screen as he saw the two heartbeat signals.
