Alex was in his workshop. Taking over the town was too easy. He promised them warmth and light and they all jumped up to let him take over. He'd lit up the street lamps with flame, at every corner there was a fire that was fueled by his power. Right now, he was creating what would become a sort of task force, to make sure everyone stayed in like. But, being the dork he was, Alex created fire dinosaurs. "Okay, let's give this a shot." Alex placed his hand on the face of his creation and it slowly came to life. "It worked? It worked! Oh this is amazing! Ana! You..." Alex then remembered that Ana wasn't here. She didn't want him, so he didn't want her. His heart began to harden even more. "Go. Take your sisters and go into the town. Bring me any troublemakers." The dinosaurs roared in response and left the tower. Alex walked out to the balcony to overlook the town.

Anastasia finally made it to her rundown apartment. She opened the door and tossed her jacket on the nearest surface, running her hand through her messy white blonde hair, turning on the light and putting her keys in the little bowl next to the door. She missed Alex. Wondered constantly what he was up to. She missed him. And even worse... She began to develop feelings for him recently. Or maybe they came up a long time ago and she just ignored them. She didn't know. She flopped on her couch and grabbed the remote to her TV, switching it on and going to the news channel.
And there he was. On the news. Something about him controlling a nearby city. With fire. Anastasia sat up bolt right. This could go wrong. So wrong. She waited to hear the name of the city, wrote it down, and bolted out the door, grabbing her jacket and keys and rushing to her car.

Alex watched over the town and then sighed. He was missing something, he knew he was. A companion maybe? He had the dinosaurs, but that wasn't enough. He needed, a person. Or something close. A smile formed on his lips. "I suppose trying Veela again wouldn't hurt."

Anastasia get she couldn't drive fast enough. But of course, as her dial hovered near 120 miles per hour on an 80 mph speed limited road, something was bound to go wrong sooner or later. It wasn't surprising when she rammed into another car, just near the entrance of the city that Alex resided in. She flew through the windshield, having neglected the idea of seat belts, and rolled along the darkened road. Her body in its defense mechanism had formed a hard shell of ice around her to keep Anastasia protected, but the others in the car weren't so lucky. The ice cracked and fell off in chunks. Anastasia stirred, touching her bleeding forehead and gasping at the wreckage a couple feet away from her, sitting up abruptly. "Oh god... Nononononono...." She muttered to herself as she got to her feet and rushed over, limping as her ankle was practically twisted backwards. She ignored the pain as she made it to the shattered window of the other vehicle. A man was at the wheel, with a woman beside him. Both looked to be her age.
And both look to be dead.

(All have returned home. Alex took over a town and Ana is on her way to stop him but crashed and killed some people)

Alex whipped his head around when once of his dinosaurs alerted him. He used his powers to create what he called fire glass. He could use it to see through any fire from anywhere in the world, including his dinosaurs. "Show me the wreck!" He commanded. The dinosaur moved closer to the wreck, letting Alex see what happened. It angered him. How could be so careless!? His eyes then saw Ana. It was her fault. She was the cause of this, and it angered him even more. "Bring her to me!" The dinosaur moved closer to Ana and roared at her.
