"You're gonna have to be a bit more specific," I say, warming up by sending arcs of plasma between my fingers. "I don't want to nuke the block, that's just messy. You want I should do something a little less dramatic?"

Winter:
"Do you WANT to know what it feels like to have your heart and lungs frozen?" I said to the guy. "No, no you don't."

Raven's eyes flashed as he used a wave of darkness that slammed Winter into the floor and sent her flying across the roof. "Don't challenge me! You won't win!" he snarled. Looking to Zajivaya, he said, "I don't care what either of you do. Your opponents are each other, but not me or the rest of the block. The firs to incapacitate the other will be the champion; just don't kill each other, understood?"

"Is that all?" I ask, dropping my hands and looking up at Raven. "I did that when we were downstairs, you really want me to do it again?" I wouldn't be able to do it the same way, of course, sucking the light out of an open area took loads more energy, but there were plenty of other ways I could take her down.

"Pretty much but this time, don't hold back. The object is to first impress me and then impress Victor," Raven replied with a shrug, completely ignoring Winter at the moment.

Winter:
I swore as the guy almost knocked me off the roof. "Okay, I do NOT want to be incapacitated, whatever the heck that means." i said as I got back up. I looked in my pocket, and I didn't have my phone. I looked on the roof of the building next to the one we were on, and I saw my phone, broken and damaged beyond repair. "DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT COST?" I yelled.

"See, though," I say, leaning on Raven's shoulder in what I hope is an annoyingly casual manner, " When you say 'don't hold back', and then say 'don't kill her', it kinda sends a mixed message." I take a moment to give Winter a patronizing look and continue "Besides, a little gamma radiation might do her good. Toughen her up a bit."

Winter:
"I. Am Not. The Hulk." I said. "You'll give me money for a new phone!"

"Well, not yet you aren't," I say, giving Winter another appraising look. "Just gimme a few minutes and you'll be smashing up buildings like a pro. And if you want a phone so badly, take one of mine, I've got like fifteen of the stupid things."

Winter:
"THAT WAS A ONE TIME THING! I'LL PROBABLY GET KILLED!" I shouted.
