Jaidex tried to keep the pan still with his bad arm while scrubbing with his good arm, it wasn't working too well. "You were on the pain medication too." He pointed out, "that automatically makes you a nut."

"maybe. but i still remember what we talked about and just so you know i'm counting the time in the building as our first kiss." Danasi replied and turned back around to stir the noodles and sauce, leaving him with that last comment. She blushed a bit to herself, thinking about the memory still fresh in her mind.

Alex knew she was trying to guilt trip him, so he stopped listening. He huffed. "Good ridence to you too." He adjusted the strap on his backpack and began to walk away from her again. So what if she melted and had food problems? At least she could touch the people she loved without fear of burning them.

Anastasia's eyes narrowed. "Geez, what makes you like that? Family die? Daddy never loved you? Mommy wasn't there? Here's a piece of advice- get over it." She stood and slipped on her headphones, playing Ghost, by Ella Henderson. Then she left.

Guys, I have a killer headache I woke up with, I'm going dress shopping for prom with a group of friends, one of my parental units flies back in today, and I have a family member in the hospital who just had a baby yesterday -which was where I was- so I am tired. I won't reply too much today, if at all.)

Alex stopped. His family was dead. They had been since he was a child. It was his fault too. Turning back, he yanked her headphones out. "Don't you ever say that to me again!" He shouted at her. "You got lucky! Your family died by the hands of someone who wanted your dead! Mine died because of my stupidity... You don't know anything."
