Jaidex nodded almost downheartedly. He would've loved to have gone to China with Danasi. "Yeah, That was kind of a waste." He answered and thought over what Danasi said next. It was true. Jaidex's mom would start asking after a while. "Probably." He answered. "She probably has a lot of questions. And I'm sure she would hate the answers."

[padlock heart]

"oooh yeah, we can't let that happen." Danasi replied. then what would most likely happen is them either having to help re-locate Jaidex's mom and sister, or his mom calling the police on them which would most likely either end in experimentation or death. yep. she had played it all out in her head. "so... my place?" she asked a little uncertainly.

"yeah, I guess so." He answered, though blood rushed to his face as he thought of being alone with Danasi. He quickly forced himself to stop blushing. "That would probably keep her from asking questions."

"right." Danasi replied and slightly started to blush. good thing her apartment had different rooms. she handed him her backpack as usual and flew him out of the fortress. she flew above the clouds until she reached the area of the city where her apartment was. dropping into an alley, she set him down and folded her wings into her backpack.
(lol my computer keeps wanting to spell Danasi as Dans XD)

"You have your methods," I say, a curtain of radio waves making my voice hazy and echoey, "I have mine." that being said, I take more care with the next guy, just setting him on fire with a burst of infrared instead of outright killing him. What else can I do, really? I'm not very strong, and I don't exactly have a stun setting on my powers.

"right." Danasi replied and slightly started to blush. good thing her apartment had different rooms. she handed him her backpack as usual and flew him out of the fortress. she flew above the clouds until she reached the area of the city where her apartment was. dropping into an alley, she set him down and folded her wings into her backpack.

Jaidex looked over at the apartment building and straighted his jacket a bit, vaguely wondering if he should've gotten a change of clothes. "Nice place you've got here." He said.

"thanks." Danasi replied as she walked over to the front door and unlocked it. "it's not too big but it has three separate rooms and a fold-out couch in the living room. inside was a three room, white walled interior. the living room had one couch in it facing a small table and a tv. there was a bathroom to the side and a kitchen at the back. Danasi's room was to the left near the back seperated by a door. the place was in pretty neat condition but that could be because there wasn't much in it. "you can just sit anywhere." she said as she shut the door behind him.

Jaidex followed her in. It was nice... But didn't look lived in, well, that kinda made sense. Jaidex wished he had his own place. But he didn't have a proper education, job, or reputation to get one. Plus, who needed apartments. Jaidex was practically a hobo. He sat down on a couch and let out an uneasy "uh, thanks."

Huntress knocked out the last of them as sprinklers turned on to set the men on fire out of their misery. Huntress broke one guys neck to temporarly paralyze him and turned to the other girl. She tapped her hand on the tazer on her hip as she tought. "The main guys are gonna go after you".

"They can try," I say, "but I can handle myself. I walk up to the purple girl and extend a hand. "Infirgo."
