When the girl fell into him he immediately pushed back on her shoulders with both hands, he wasn't super-strong though his strength was out of the human range due to allowing for his wings. As he pushed back at her he made ice quickly begin to encase her feet, still trying to use as little violence as possible, though he knew that he would have to change that soon if she attacked him again, especially with how close she was, his slight advantage of distance having gone.

Hearing the sound of death Bastet followed the smell of blood that came afterwards. Catching a glimpse of a pretty blond girl kill two people, she watched, waiting for her to pass. Once sure that she was out of sight Bastet turned into a human, checking on the victim that had been left to bleed to death. Seeing that there was nothing she could do to save the man she pulled out her dagger and finished the job quickly. Turning back into a cat she began following the girl, curious to the motives. She doubted it was for a contract, the method was too messy and the job was left unfinished, there was also no calling card from what she could see, no way to prove who had finished the job. Bastet kept a good distance away, while still keeping the girl within sight, occasionally getting distracted by a rat or mouse that ran past, much more vulnerable to her cat instincts while in this form

Artemis lent against her motor bike, her helmet sitting on the seat behind her pulling off her glove off as her phone beeped. Turning on the smart phone she smiled as she saw her new bank balance, the final payment having been made for her most recent contract. Shoving her phone back into the pocket of her black leather jacket she pulled her glove on before grabbing her keys and putting them in the other pocket then walking across the park that she parked at, knowing her previous client resided in the vicinity in case they needed a little prompting.
