crap, could really use some help right about now. she thought to herself as she simply smirked at mimic, "ah, you must be mimic." she then began to absorb the shadow mimic was attempting to use against her, and released it into the room causing the room to become so thick with darkness you could literally cut it with a knife. crap, what was i thinking, she absorbed my abilities and can see just as well a me in the dark. she then, reshaping the darkness into a ball, shot it straight through the roof like a dark flare. hopefully someone else see's the flare, i might get unbanned from the premises if i help bring mimic down.

Cara looked up from her file when she heard a loud crash from a few rooms down. Odd. She thought, deciding to go check it out. She set her file on the table and stood, heading out the door and down the hall to the room that currently had no door. She stepped inside, "Hi. Mind if I interrupt this, whatever this is." She said, motioning to the chaos, not in the least bit afraid.

"feel free to step in." she said to cara, stepping off to the side to go see if joey was ok.

Angel appeared in front of Joey and turned.
"There was a glitch in the cameras in this area. Thought something might be up. You ok?" She turned to see mimic and sighed.
"Good thing I actually read the file." She backed away a bit. There was no way she was letting mimic anywhere near her powers; there was no telling what she could do.
"Cover your ears!" She yelled to her friends... It was a strange choice in words coming from Angel's mind, but there were more important things. Angel lifted a hand and a piercing sound echoed sharply around the room, her eyes glowing white, the darkness being magnified in contrast.

EDIT: Bleh, for some reason I can't write well for angel. The never ending flow of sarcasm is blocked for some reason... Eh, I'll get it eventually, that's why my posts are weird.

shadow not realizing why angel had told them to cover their ears, did not and fell to the ground, unable to focus on controlling her powers, she accidently enveloped the whole room in a dark cloud.

He looked watched the scene, not sure what to do. He wished he could do something. But he didn't want to use his other power and make his headache even worse. He nodded slightly when she asked if he was okay and covered his ear when told to do so. Well, all he wanted to do was relax and this ended up happening. He always did have bad luck.

I sit in a dark room, light emitting from my body. They were testing me, trying to see what gave me my powers. I curl up in a ball, trying to hide from the darkness surrounding me, although I knew it was no use. I shut my eyes tight, trying to get rid of this nightmare. Because, like most children, I was afraid of the dark. No, not the dark itself, but what's in it. I hope silently that somebody will come to rid me of this nightmare. (Btw, not the dark room that Mimic is in, but a different one. And also open)

As shadow entered the room she saw a glowing girl curled up, upon entering the room, she held her arms out and pulled the darkness from the room, causing it to become much brighter in there. "you okay?" she asked, That should give me enough of a boost to blast that door down and find out what that woman was up to. she thought to herself, looking around for a light switch as she knew the darkness would slowly creep back into the room. turning on the light she left and walked back to the door that the agent and the woman following him went into, and lightly knocked on the door, not sure if they could hear it or not.

I sit up and nod, my cheeks bright red. I was embarrassed to be caught, curled up in the corner like a child in time-out. I stood up and walked out after the person who had come for me. I soon found the way out, and left that dreadful place.
