I couldn't help fantasizing about pushing Deadpool out of the helicopter. Sure it wouldn't have any lasting effect, but I could take satisfaction in the fact that it would probably hurt a lot. "We, him and I, we met at a singles bar just tonight.A little place called Clive's, ever heard of it?" I looked at Bucky and prayed that he would go along with this "I don't really remember everything that we were talking about. But I could have mentioned my friend's wedding, I think one of the bridesmaid was named Sophie. Maybe this creep overheard and that's what he means by it" I exchanged nervous glances between my interrogator and Bucky as I spoke, trying desperately to sound more 'authentic', I was running out of lies to tell.

Wade's jaw dropped as she spoke, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" He growled, turning to Baio. "Her name is Sophie! We met in the sewer earlier today and that's when we got into a fight! They ran away to that restaurant where I followed and blew it up!!!" He yelled, more to himself than anyone else. Baio glared at the three of them, "we know Wade has problems but he still has a brain," the guards stepped forwards and cuffed Sophie again. "Just until we get back, then we can figure out the rest."

It wasn't hard to look baffled because, well, the truth was pretty baffling when you put it like that. I winced as the guards cuffed me again, why did they have to make these things so damn tight. "Who's Wade? I uh, thought that was Spider-Man.." I said, nodding towards Deadpool. "I suppose telling you that I have no idea what Wade is talking about will do me any good will it. I know the haircut and sickly demeanor suggest otherwise, but I don't actually frequent sewers, I'm just an art student." The last part slipped out before I remembered that I was in fact a terrible artist, if they asked me to draw something I really was screwed.

Bucky had to admit, he was impressed by Sofia's ability to lie to easily. Whether or not it convinced the SHIELD agents remained to be seen, but he had to give her props for trying. He was afraid to say anything more lest he make their story any less believable. He supposed he would steer this particular conversation away from who they were so that Sofia wouldn't accidentally contradict herself. He took a breath, getting control of himself. He didn't need to give these guys any reasons to be suspicious, and getting angry would do just that.
"So where exactly are you taking us?" he asked.

Wade narrowed his eyes, "why can't people mistake spideypool for me!? I'm like 600 times older than him yet he gets all the fame?" He grumbled.
Baio tilted her head up, still not believing what te girl had told her, but turned to Bucky when he spoke up. "Like I said, one of the Shield bases, they will know what to do with you." She said, the smile no longer on her face.

"They'll know what to do with you?" I responded, standing back up. " We've both been really patient with you people considering. But we are american citizens, and I demand to know where exactly where we are being taken and what's going to happen to us when we get there." I figured, that in this situation acting calm wasn't going to help my case. If anything it made me more suspicious, what kind of ordinary college kid wouldn't be at least a little stressed in this situation. It was time to get a little emotional. " Why is this happening to me?.. and what is the 'shield' you keep talking about anyway? I've never heard of it, it sound's pretty menacing.. Oh god you don't think.. They are, they're going to kill us. This was some sort of covert government operation gone wrong and they are going to kill us. Do- do I at least get a phone call?

"They will know what to do with you."
That was it, then. There was no way she was buying any of this. Bucky could see that plain as day. Right about now was when he would be making his great escape, but Sofia was trying so dang hard to convince this agent that they really were innocent civilians who had no idea what was going on. He figured he would just let her try. It gave him time to think. They would probably be landing at the base any minute now. When they got there, he supposed it would be best to play nice until a good opportunity to escape presented itself. He sighed as Sofia drummed up a whole 'nother round of hysterics. She was really laying it on thick.
"Kathy, they're not going to kill you," he said, trying and probably failing to play the role of comforting the hysterical civilian. At least it wasn't a total lie. They probably wouldn't kill Sofia unless she did something insane.

This wasn't going to work for long, I could tell. Leave it to SHIELD agents to be so cold, I bet their higher ups remove the part of the brain associated with empathy before sending them out into the field. I might as well get Bucky some useful information while I was up here making a scene, he looked like he needed it more than I did. I craned my neck to the side, trying to get a view of the pilots screen as I spewed some nonsense about being too young to die. I found that if I tilted my head this way, I could make out the coordinates of our destination. Bingo.

Adding a bit about patriotism, a few tears, and part of the monologue from Braveheart to my distraction speech, I tried to relay the numbers back to Bucky by counting them out on my hands, which were still cuffed behind my back. The beauty of the system I had devised lay in its simplicity. Right hand for latitude, left for longitude and a painful clench of the fist to indicate when a number was negative. Then I'd repeat it. I had no way of knowing if he was understanding, even looking at me, or what he could do with this information. But if he really was the Winter Solider, it would probably be useful for the escape plan he was already concocting.

Baio sat down on the seat behind her, looking down at her hands. "Please," She looked back up at the two, "like I said, you can trust us. We don't want to hurt you, we want to help you." She said calmly. "We just need to know exactly what happened." She sighed, "Tell us who you two really are."

Wade squirmed around in his seat, "Are we there yet!?" He growled, "We've been in here forever!". He crossed his legs on the seat.

Bucky wasn't totally sure at first what Sofia was doing with her hands. He could see them nervously moving behind her back, and he thought at first it was Morse code or something, but the patterns didn't make sense. Then he realized she was moving her hands in the same patterns each time. It looked like she was trying to communicate numbers. Ok, that was a start. She kept making the same string of numbers. Four of them? Two pairs? Each hand made something different. She'd been looking at the cockpit beforehand, so maybe that had something to do with it.
Coordinates? Is she trying to give me coordinates? What good will that do us? he thought, but he went ahead and tried to figure out what she was trying to tell him anyway.

It took a few tries to get a string of numbers that made sense, but it finally clicked. He recognized those coordinates. They were taking the three of them straight to SHIELD's headquarters here in New York. Of course. He frowned and nodded slightly to Sofia to indicate that he got it. He didn't like this. It would have been gard enough to get out of a smaller base, but HQ? This was going to be a challenge.

He looked at Baio,
"Well, like she said we met at a bar and decided to go back to her place, and then a nut case in a red leotard smashed through the window and tried to blow us up," he finished, "I don't know what else you think we can tell you."
