Jade stood at her bus stop, and looked at her watch. The bus wasn't usually THIS late. 5 more minutes, and she'd walk to school instead.

Mackenzie raced to the bus stop, just in time to see it pull away. "Darn. Missed it again," she muttered. Looking at her watch, she sighed. "I better run." With that, she took off running down the sidewalk, hoping she would make it to school before the bell.

Mackenzie dashed up the steps to the school- and just in time. No sooner had she entered than the bell rang, making her officially just barely on time.
