He doesn't show his fear in any situation, and although he is friendly he is very mysterious and secretive. It may take a little while to get him to open up and tell you everything, but once you gain his trust you couldn't ask for a better friend.

Ren's heart leaped as Harlow started to drop, her wings tucked in. he dipped in the air, rocketing towards his injured friend in a hopeful attempt to straighten her rocky flight. in a flash of white hair and feathers, Xmeria was off the ground and wrapping her arms around Har, carrying her safely to the forest floor. he sucked in a deep breath and released it as a heavy sigh, relaxing his muscles. that was close. immediate guilt for letting go of the bleeding girl stabbed at his chest. that'd been a stupid decision, hadn't it? the boy hovered, lowering himself to the ground with only the price of some dust swirling up into his feathers. Ren brushed his black hair back with his fingers, then shielded the sun from his eyes and looked up at the two avian hybrids still circling in the sky. he waved, beckoning for them to come land on this packed earth. the male enjoyed touching down on the roof of the house and fluttering his way down from there, but it was faster this way. dirtier, but faster.

the house looked rickety from the outside, with moss claiming the tiles and ivy climbing up the walls. a window was broken from a particular fight he'd gotten into with Axel, ending in some rocks being thrown. the door was a bit singed on the top left corner, where the same idiotic redhead had decided to test out his pyrokinetic powers. the structure was painted a pale white and had a lighter trim, complete with a dark brown roof. the paint was chipping and a few tiles were missing. a small balcony owned the middle of the house, connecting to the room that Ren had claimed as his own. Xmeria, Harlow, and Indigo shared the master bedroom, as they all got along well. Axel and Feri owned the couches. Nikolai technically shared a room with Ren, and slept in the one bed, while Renni took to the roof with a blanket and a pillow (if you're alright with that, bookw0rm). as for the others, they all fought over who got what in each room.

Renni let Axel and Xmeria take over the situation with Harlow. he wasn't much help when it came to healing, but worry squeezed his chest. the boy jogged over, giving his raven appendages a quick fan before folding them against his spine. "Xmeria, can you and Axel handle Har? I've got to show Red and Blue around." His voice was drawn tight, green eyes cold as he glanced over Meri. it always made the raven angry to see that something had harmed his flock, and angrier that he wasn't there to protect them when it happened.

The siblings shared a glance, then sped up their descent, until they landed a few lengths from Ren. They still needed to work on their landings, as they more often than not ended up hitting each other with their wings, or landed oddly. This time, however, they managed a half-decent running-touchdown, which left Red grinning as he cooled his wings.

The twins usually slept in the trees or in storm drains, and the sight of the house up-close amazed the two. Blue trilled, her feathers rippling excitedly, and Red gazed up at it appreciatively, then glanced over at Ren.

"Our rent's gonna be pretty high, huh?" He joked, relaxing a little now that nothing had immediately popped out to kill them. He trusted Ren, one-hundred percent, but the rest of them, he wasn't so sure about. Blue, on the other hand, trusted everyone that wasn't aiming a gun at them.

The shark boy laid stagnant on the old couch, his flared gills twitching at each thud on the roof, his finned ears going back as the noise began echoing through their small home. Feri reluctantly rose to his feet from his cozy makeshift bed and began trudging barefoot outside to meet his obnoxious, bird-brained roommates. The boy's tail swished back and forth, just touching the grass, as he positioned himself right outside the house, his silvery eyes narrowing as they met the figures on the rooftop.

"Hey!" he called up from the yard, "Th' hell do you think you're doing? Making some godawful ruckus." he growled. The surly young man's sharp teeth flashed for a moment as he continued to stare the little group down. It was unlikely they could even see him, and yet Shark Week found being angry at them (safe) on the ground was plenty effective.
