E.J.'s thoughts focused more on the Hacker. Who was he? What did he want?

Foxflight was proud to report that both Sedgepaw and Flintpaw passed their final assessments, and became warriors: Sedgeleaf and Flintfire.

[kia.]

Pixal and Cyrus glare at eachother, smirking like idiots before Cyrus spoke again. "Then answer this. What is the root meaning of your 'virus'? What do you mean by that?"

"I mean that the hack from. The overlord was acting closely like a computer virus would, taking grasp of the CPU and using it to its advantages, like spreading the virus and infecting other software."

"Or multiplying out of supposedly thin air, like you did building the hundreds of nindroids."

"Exactly."

"So it's a virus."

"No! It's not!"

"Pixal, the definition you just gave me was that of a virus."

"It's not a virus."

"Then what is the difference from a hack to a virus."

"A virus is started somewhere, and spread, effecting all software it comes into contact with. A hack is something that originates from infected hardware, or the operative hardware, or the base of the hack. It then can effect another host, which will be controlled to spread the hack throughout the cyberspace."

"That's the main difference?"

"Viruses infect anything. Hacks effect everything accept host software."

Rei frowns.

"Hmm.." Ed frowns.

[Prince Endymion]

Sapphire squeaked, "I'm stuck now!!"

Luna looked at Ed, tilting her head.

Zane frowned, "The overlord was in the system... would that not be a virus?"

E.J. let his mind wander, hearing the distant thoughts of the Ninja, and hearing the argument between Pixal and Cyrus.

"It's great being a warrior." Flintfire sighed. "You said it." Sedgeleaf purred.

[kia.]

"And Zane joins the logic fight!" Cyrus laughs.

Pixal smirks faintly, shaking her head before looking at Zane. "The overlord was plainly the operative software. Er.." She pauses, thinking things over. "Where would the hack have originated from..?" She mumbles to herself. She was rather determined to win this argument.

Cyrus laughs. "And she stumbles upon the point Zane and I are making!" (Zane- 1 Cyrus-1 Pixal- ZERO!)

Emerald climbs up Rei's foreleg. "Here, I'll help you get untangled."

Ed sighs. "We could try calling your parents.."

Luna immediately perked up, "Really?!"

Zane chuckled, "I believe that you may have miscalculated!"

Sapphire laughed, "Thank you!"

"Well if the overlord didn't exactly originate from a certain software, would it not be considered either of the two? Both a virus and hack need a host." Pixal frowns, tipping her head.

Cyrus blinks. ".....Fair point... But now your changing the subject slightly. We are still here trying to prove wether the hack or virus you where under was a hack or virus. The overlord himself may be the host you are speaking about!"

Ed nods. "Yeah we can try!"

Emerald works on weaving her hair out of the saddle straps and Rei's scales.

Amusement came from E.J.'s conscience in waves.

As night fell, E.J. became the Werehog, and Sedgeleaf and Flintfire placed themselves in the middle of the camp, and Flintfire gazed behind him to watch Foxflight disappear into the warriors' den behind Molefur.

Luna hopped up, "Yay!!"

Zane frowned, "Right."

Sapphire smiled, "Thank you, Emerald."

"The overlord isn't exactly a software...." Pixal smirks. "He HACKED the tower's systems, taking control of everything using the main computers! HAHA! Outwit that Cyrus and Zane!!"

Cyrus laughs, shaking his head. "But he used the main computers to get into the others. Do you know exactly how he did it? But a malware do download or plainly a CPU search and destroy?"

Ed smiles, rising and grabbing the phone.

Emerald nods, smiling,
