Mirrin always saw Elani as being more of a liger. It didn't help that Mirrin was a foot shorter than Elani, who was pretty solidly built too. So feral creatures wasn't far off.
Mirrin headed over to Kyoya, with a smile on her face, glad that that miss understanding was out of the way.

"Are you alright, Miss?" Kyoya asked, tilting his head and pushing off from the wall. He lightly grabbed her hand again and smiled.

"I'm okay," She replies with a small nod, "it was good to get her side of things as to why she broke up with me. It still sucks, but at least I know why now"

"That's always good." Kyoya said with a calm smile, though, on the inside, he really, really wanted to know what happened between them. What they talked about. It was killing him almost.

Lukas shrugs with a happy smile. "No its ok they are really boring and never mind how snooty everyone at those parties are" he says laughing a bit.

"She found out she's engaged to someone else. She loves me. But I understand how important her family is to her so she had to break it off with me" she says softly

"An arranged marriage, perhaps?" Kyoya questioned, raising an eyebrow. He hated to pry into other people's business. But if their business was their happiness, then nothing much could be done. "Arranged marriages can put a damper on things, don't they?" He mumbled.

"Well," Haruhi began, scratching her head. "That makes two of us." She laughed. "Want to dance?" She asked with a shrug, smiling. "Beats just standing around here, huh?"

"They can do, I guess I'm lucky that my parents haven't arranged something like that for me or my sisters" Mirrin replies with a slight smile.

"Same here. " Kyoya gave a light chuckle and proceeded to float around the room again. "They can do, I guess, as long as they stay far, far away from my family." He growled.

[Wild Mothman]

She tilts her head to the side, like a dog would, confused. "What do you mean by that," she asks, wondering what he meant by that.
