"Exactly what I meant!" Hikaru called with a faint smile on his lips. "Really? Ooh, nice to now I'm so desirable towards you!" He cheered as he smiled over at her. "Don't worry, Ava. I think you and i will get along just fine." He added with an arm looped around the girl's shoulders.

Ava couldn't mimic the one motion in return so she settled for wrapping one arm around his hip with a genuine smile. About time a QUALITY boy surfaced in this pool.

"No. I'd rather stay here, with my kind." She sighed. "And no, I only like one of them.. the other is just so..." She thought. "So... so.. I have no idea what word but its just.." She closed her eyes tightly.

"Hikaru?" Soata asks, before scooping her up silently and setting her down on a chair. "Tell me more."

"Why do you care?" She said, her voice cracked. "I thought he liked me.." She frowned. "But it was only because he had to pretend. Its his job." She sighed. "But then her... she came along and.." She punched the table. "Ruined it! I'm never going to find love!" She almost yelled. "Even if she didn't tag along, I still would've never found it." She looked at her hand.

"I care because no should feel so alone like that. Maybe he's not the one. But one day one will come." He says, face unchanging, though in his eyes, they shone with a friendliness. "I feel like that some times. But I treatment that I'm only still young and I've got so many years ahead of me to figure things out like that."

"Yeah... But I don't care anymore. Love means nothing to me anymore.." She sighed. "And I do deserve to be alone.. forever. Cats don't even deserve me, I'm that bad." She got up, and walked to the corner. Her safe haven.

Soata watched her go before a smile inched over his features. He tapped his pocket and pulled out a tiny little albino mouse and walking over to her. "Do mice deserve you? Because this is Molly, and she doesn't like just anyone. She likes special people. And she's telling me she likes you."
