jake looked at alexia. her eyes wide. "oh so your grandmother must be fleur delacour or rather weasley now. wow she's my great aunt. my grandmother on my mothers side is gabrielle delecour." she said with a soft smile. "how strange." she muttered to herself and then looked at artemis. she nodded. "yeah. well father told me that the hat generally bases your house on your personality." she told the girl with the owl. tigger purred as she crawled up jake's chest and rested.

Alisa looked out the window as Alfie stroked Luca's downy feathers. Alisa couldn't wait to get back to Hogwarts, and she knew her twin felt the same. He was just better at hiding his feelings.

She looked back over at Alfie, "Hey Alfie, do you think anyone's going to sit with us this year?" Alfie shrugged, "I don't know sis. The train has already been moving for quite a while. I would think everyone would have found a compartment already."

Alisa nodded and looked back out the window, hoping she would make new friends this year.

Samuel knew no one would sit with him. Every year the Hufflepuff male had to sit alone the while train ride to Hogwarts. 'It is best that I don't get attached to anyone anyways.' Samuel thought with a small sigh. He would just get shunned and made fun of when others found out what he was. And then again what if they did accept it and tried to control him after he changed? What if you hurt them? "This is why I don't have any friends." He said to himself, sighing again.

Seraphina wandered the train, looking for an empty compartment. At the moment she was just trying to avoid her brother, so she slipped into a part of the train that was almost empty. She hated to be alone, so when she saw a Hufflepuff boy that she recognized from a couple of her classes, she called out to him, "Hey, umm.. can I sit with you?"

Samuel's head snapped u in surprise as someone spoke to him. His heart started racing like a rabbit, and upon seeing it was a girl, his cheeks collected a faint shade of pink to them. "Oh, um, uh, yes. Yes! I mean, you can sit here. If you want to that is!" He babbled nervously, stuttering like normal. He squirmed uncomfortably, and his barn owl churred a bit, almost like it was laughing at his bashfulness.

"Thanks," Seraphina said, taking the seat opposite of him, smirking, "You're quite a stuttery one, don't worry, I won't bite, unless you like that kind of thing. I'm Seraphina Malfoy, by the way, nice to meet ya." She extended her hand, hoping that he would shake it, her father said that as a pureblood, things like shaking hands were required.

Sanuel seemed to go even pinker, taking on a slightly red tint. He slowly stuck out his hand and shook. His grip was not very firm, and his hand shook a little bit. "S-Samuel." Hr said. He kept his eyes to the ground. He knew who the girl was very well. A Malfoy. A pure blood. Better than him in almost every way. He was only a half blood with shyness issues.

xxxArtemis smiled slightly crookedly and lent forward slightly so she could look the girl in the eye. "Yes, your personality traits. Traits are passed down through families." She explained, staring at the girl with such intensity that you would think she had burnt her house down. From the very beginning she never once believed in the stereotypes of the houses. Though were general guidelines, there was much more to each house than meets the eye and it angered her when people couldn't look past the front. "But there is much more to a person than the personality that they have inherited. Everyone is born with a few traits that are completely unique to them. Something that makes them special. Your parents shouldn't be ashamed of that."
