xxxArtemis side and reached over to Lunas silver cage and opened it, releasing the dark eyed owl. The bird jumped out and stretched her wings wide, showing her huge wingspan, before shaking her feathers out and flying onto her owners shoulder. Artemis absentmindedly stroked her pets neck, while she continued. "You're so lucky! The last time I went to Shell Cottage was for Christmas. Three years ago." She complained her eyes widening for emphasis. She turned away from her cousin to look at the new girl coming in. She had definitely seen this girl before and she knew who she was, but they had hardly met. She smiled and beckoned her in with her hand. "Come on in, there's plenty of room"

Alex smiled, as she caught her cat, who by that time tried to hunt down the owl. Setting Olaf down in her lap, she chuckled softly and stated "now.. now.." then she turned up at Artemis, smiling and saying with laugh "maybe this year, yu be lucky enough to get therre!" But then the blackheaded girl entered, and once Alex gazed up at her, her smile turned into confusion. The new girl seemed somehow familiar, so before the girl could sat down, lexi started questioning her "Hai! whats your name? school? year?" she quickly rattled the sentence.

jake smiled softly and walked in with tigger curled up in her arms. the kitten watched the larger cat and the owl curiously but never left her owners arms. jake sat next to the girl with the owl and looked up at the girl who began questioning her. "um...." she began. wouldnt it have been obvious with her slytherin robes? "i...im jake...jake potter and im a f..fifth year." she stated holding tigger closley. she then turned to face the girl with the owl. "thank you for allowing me to join you. i couldnt imagine sitting on my own."

xxxArtemis looked up and frowned, tipping her head slightly to one side. "A Potter? As in related to Harry and Ginny Potter?" She asked raising her eyebrows and stoking her bird absently. The potters were both, old family friends and of cause they were related through the weasleys. It was weird that she had never even heard of Jake before today. They had been in the same year all this time and they had never met. Sure she had seen her around, knew who she was, but it never registered before today. "I guess its family reunion day."

jake looked at the girl with the owl. she nodded with a soft smile. "yeah they're my grandparents. my father's albus potter their second son." she said and then her eyes widened. she knew they seemed familiar. they must be from her grandmother potter's side of the family. "so....what a...are y..your names?" she asked petting tigger who just sat there watching the large cat curiously. it was strange that her parents hadnt told her about these girls before maybe it was because they were ashamed of their daughter being the only potter to be placed in the slytherin house. she sighed and looked down at the thought.

It took her few seconds to finally understand what is going on. And once Alex did, she couldn't help but smile. "so, Jake..." she said quickly, introducing herself "I'm alexia athena lupin". Then her brow arched up and Lexi added "Oh and this is Olaf!" pointing to her small fluffy halfbreed cat, who looked at jake's kitten curious.

xxxArtemis smiled and raised her hand to Luna, encouraging the bird to hop gracefully onto her wrist. "Artemis Dove and this is Luna. My mum is rose weasley" She replied, lowing her hand and slowly stroking the birds soft feathers. It was a bad habit she had picked up a few years back, when she had been given Luna. They were almost inseparable after all these years, even at night she would sometime sneak out in fox form to explore with her friend. She looked up at the girl and smiled at her, while Luna tipped her head at the new cat and stared with huge dark blue eyes. "Wait. you're in Slytherin?" She burst out, confusion crossing over her face. Even the most distant relatives of her family we never in Slytherin. Even her, who was the most troublesome of the family was put in Gryffindor. It just wasn't normal.

jake looked at the two girls. "its a pleasure to meet you both and your beautiful pets." she said politely. yeah jake potter wasnt your typical slytherin nor was she your typical potter either. when artemis mention her being in slytherin, jake simply nodded and looked down. "yeah my parents were really disappointed when they heard. i guess thats why they never introduced me to the rest of the family beside my grandparents and close cousins." she said sadly. it was hard being the only potter to ever be in slytherin. "oh this is tigger by the way." she said guesturing to the tabby kitten in her arms who now had both the owl and the larger cat staring at him. she then looked over at alexia. "so who are your parents?" she asked.

Alex chuckled, before answering "oh, erh... my dad is Edward Lupin and my mum is Victoire Lupin" she quickly counted down and her eyes darted up at Jake. She always loved meeting new people, and being somehow related to other wasn't anything special, after all lot of wizard families were related. She gave a large smile to Jake, before petting her cat, bitting lip and gazing over at window.

xxxThe red head frowned and brushed her hair behind her ear with her free hand. "I always thought the sorting hat was bias towards the potter and weasely family." She said a wide smile on her face. "I guess this means some of us can slip through and beat that stupid stereotype!"
