With the roar echoing off the walls of the cave, it was hard to distinguish which pokemon had been the one to let loose such a loud sound. "Now, I wonder, what sort of pokemon is that?" Colress muttered as he sent out Metagross, letting the giant pokemon stand by Magnezone. With such a sound, it was quite possible that the wild pokemon -it had to be wild, right? Or was it a trainer's? - was hostile, and Colress didn't wish to be unprepared should the pokemon attack them.

Following Colress' actions, N let out Riolu and Zorua, keeping in mind that Zoroark had told him that she had wanted to rest. Not wanting to exhaust his friend, N decided to use the other two pokemon he had came to know. While yes, he could ask for help from the other wild pokemon, there weren't many left after Solar and Lunar took over. As such, he started having to rely on pokemon that were already in his party.

Though, Kyurem didn't count, since the dragon pokemon preferred to be out of a pokeball than in one, so the legendary, while still a part of N's team, wasn't exactly with him. Kyurem only came when N called, and the green-haired male could only hope that the pokemon was still free, and not in either of the enemy teams' hands. If such a thing were to happen... N shook his head. He would have really let his friend down then.... "I just hope that we don't need to fight..."

Hakumei understood the perspective that Piper spoke from. While outside of official fights she herself -and her sister- did join in on some of the fights her pokemon got into with wild ones, she was never hurt really badly, since her pokemon often beat their opponents quickly, be they a trainer's pokemon or one from the wild. Although, if it was a trainer who challenged her, Hakumei and Yami would both step back and watch the battle before them play out, for they wished to have a fair fight. If the other trainer did not participate physically, than they wouldn't either.

As Rayquaza performed a crash landing, all three -Meloetta was still outside her pokeball- braced themselves for the oncoming flying dirt. "Well, that was a nice thing to do." Said Yami with a shrug, earning her a light slap from her sister.

"Mean..." Hakumei muttered, before turning to Piper. "You're pokemon are quite the family to have around...." She said as she saw how each existing team members of Piper's went to greet their new friend. "And on the topic of joining in on fights... Do you do that when battling with other trainers? Isn't it... a little unfair?"

((Nah, everything's fine lol, I just got confused. Anyway, why do I need to correct you o.0 That was your view (or your character's ><) on pokeballs.... so, there's no need for correcting. Afterall, it would be extremely unreasonable for me to tell you to correct something you believe in just cause it doesn't fit with my beliefs, no?))

Absol blinked, moving her head backwards as Zorua roared in her face. With a huff, the Absol decided to be a little funny, aiming a pounce on Zorua. Lucario on the other hand, just rolled his eyes, using his telepathy once again. ((Take this as Lucario speaking to everyone ^^))
As long as she doesn't try to prank me, I do believe we'll get along nicely.

Hearing the words in her head, Aurora's eyes flickered briefly towards Lucario. "I see your point." She said, responding to Yoru and Yume. "Though, I let my pokemon out whenever possible, but make sure not to have everyone out at the same time, for the larger our group is, the higher the risk of us being spotted. Lucario, your view on this?"

...Generally, we do prefer to be out of our pokeballs.... But, in current times, it only makes sense for us to remain inside them, for it is safety for us in their own right, despite how much most of us dislike it. Yet, it also provides shelter and a place for us to rest... So we don't exactly hate it. Commented Lucario. Of all her pokemon, the Aura pokemon was the onl only whom could communicate with her in a language she actually understood. While Suicune could talk to her, it required translating, so often that was one of Lucario's roles - to voice whatever the team wanted to say, since only he could translate for Aurora.

Saturn finally found what he needed to properly set up a resting place, and he, together with his pokemon, had finished setting it up, and were currently resting in their makeshift shelter. "Hmm... If only we could stop hiding..." He mused. He still remembered the days he was part of the reason why people ran and hid, but that time changed. He had helped Galatic reform, and soon the team was doing 'good' in a way. They were actually doing what they promised the people of Sinnoh, to find ways to create energy and to help produce said product.

However, while they did that, Galatic's forces was also split up to two main parts, those who would help protect Sinnoh and those who focused on energy producing. As he reminisced about how those days were, his resolve to beat Solar and Lunar was renewed once again, and his hands curled into fists as thought more and more about the teams. After a while, he sighed. There was no used getting worked up about something he couldn't do anything about - at least not yet. He would get stronger, find allies, and then, take down Solar and Lunar. "Yes... we'll beat them..."

I smiled at the Lucario. "I guess you're right! I'm pretty sure these agree!'' I smiled at Espeon who purred a happy "Espeon!" and curled up in my arms. "Aren't you a darling?" I cooed. She rubbed her head against my chin then tilted her head towards Lucario, making one ear flop over the top of her head. "Espe? Espeon!" She nodded. "Well yes! I'm happy all of you understand!" I smiled at the other Pokemon.

"Zorua!" huffed Zorua.I snickered. "I'm afraid it's not so easy to escape her!" Zorua struggled under Absol, then changed into a small bird flying overhead and fluttered onto the Absol's head, chirping away and pecking at the black horn. "Hmmm. At least it isn't upsetting for any of you." Umbreon and Houndour both nodded while Absol grunted and glared at me. I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Well YOU, Mister, are always grumpy anyways!"

Green looked towards the back of the cave. It was really dark but her curiosity overpowered her fear. She started towards the back of the cave.

Sylvia backed into a wall at the side of the cave. The serpent like pokemon roaring at her furiously for disturbing it. "Cruncher come on out!" She cried throwing a pokeball. A garchomp burst out landing in front of her.

Piper looked furiously at Hakumei. "There's nothing unfair about using my brain. If other people don't have the common sense to do that, feel what pain their Pokemon feels, they don't deserve to have one." Rayquaza twisted around Piper with a furious roar. She grabbed her Rayquaza's fin and hoisted herself up, standing on its head. "I challenge you to a battle." she said coolly, a snarl hinting in her voice. "One against two." The Johto champion had a flare of fury alight in her violet eyes.

Stella's Frolass growled low in its throat, approaching the second Mightyena. Stella, this Pokemon is deceptive, I believe if I search further, I can determine the specimen. The Frolass often spoke to Stella telepathically, voicing fears and arguments. Her Frolass narrowed its eyes furiously, and relaxed. T'is a Pokemon of the Zorua evolution line. I shall assume it is Zoroark, as Zorua does not have such strong disguises unless trained so. The Frolass, with the Bergmite in its arms, was usually the mother of the team. Many a time, the female Frolass had saved the Bergmite from impending disasters with furious wild Pokemon by freezing them solid. She had carried the team, and had been with Stella since they were both young. Stella looked curiously at the second Mightyena. "I believe, according to my Frolass, this is a Zoroark?" Stella blushed slightly. "I am sorry. Frolass is usually wrong in her assumptions. She can see through disguises easily, but it is difficult for her to determine which Pokemon." Stella's Glaceon looked warily up at the Mightyena, its eyes wide. It finally bowed down, as if asking to play.

((Er.. now i'm not sure >< Cause in games, pikachu (if playing red, yellow or blue i believe) can get out of his pokeball by himself, no need for trainer's help. Not sure if there's a specific requirement for that, but I'lll just assume that means that pokemon can get out of their pokeballs on their own if they want? Sorry for misunderstanding... :< ))

Absol was amused about how Zorua reacted. First huffing and struggling, before deciding to transform into a bird to escape being pin down. How cute the little black furred pokemon was! Though, it was a little ticklish when the pecking started, yet Absol did nothing to get Zorua off her, instead, she sat down, glancing upwards towards her horn. Lucario did the same, eyeing the illusion pokemon wearily. Zorua was a little too active for him.

"Haha, alright, Absol, don't bully Zorua now, alright." Aurora said with a laugh, before glancing at Espeon and Yume. Absol on the other hand, just huffed. "Your espeon is quite adorable, Yume." Aurora stated as Lucario turned his attention to the pinkish-purple pokemon, opting to take a few steps back. Aurora blinked, seeing his reaction. "Hey, Yoru, your Absol and my Lucario will make pretty good friends, seeing as how both of them have somewhat the same personality, no?"

Colress glanced at N, before following after Green with a sigh. She had better not get them into trouble... "Come, Metagross, Magnezone." Both pokemon followed him, while N stuck close by, Riolu and Zorua by his side. It was such an odd sight to see two first stage evolutions standing beside two third stage evolution pokemon, but though they were different in terms of evolution stages, Riolu and Zorua were still quite strong. Granted, they couldn't take down a fair amount of pokemon on their own, but hey, that was what teamwork was for. They would cover the two bigger pokemon's backs and act as their support.

((So... a pokemon battle huh. This will get interesting! I may want to go and try to remember my characters' teams now XD Eh, I'll probably have both twins lose? Or does it end in a draw?))

"Now you've done it." Yami said with a sigh. With how Piper appeared - she looked pretty determined - Yami decided that it wasn't going to be easy to dissuade the girl, so she guessed they had no choice but to accept. Truthfully, while Hakumei seemed rather delighted by the prospect of fighting - Hakumei really didn't care of the outcome, she just wanted to let her pokemon have some fun, and they always found joy in fights - Yami was not. What happened if a patrol saw their fight? If they came when all three trainers' pokemon were exhausted? What then? "Are you sure, Piper. Don't you worry that the patrols might see the fight?"

"Oh lighten up, sister! Even Meloetta is looking forward to stretch her limbs. Besides, this is more of a friendly match. there's no harm in that, right?" Yami shook her head at Hakumei's words.

"Either way, be this just a friendly fight or not, there is a risk we'll be spotted. Do we really want to take that risk?"

Green took the the lead of the group, leading them to the back.

Sylvia stood her groud staring at zygarde straight into it's 'eyes'. The zygarde roared and used dragon pulse. "Cruncher, dodge it!" Sylvia ordered. Cruncher jumped into the air flew out of the way. The dragon pulse zoomed past where Cruncher was previously. Sylvia squeaked dodging the attack. "Alright, now use Dragon Rush!" She cried. The garchomp flew at zygarde glowing blew. Zygarde quickly used camoflage, turning into a rock type to lessen the damage. Soon after it finished using camoflage, garchomp hit it with dragon rush. Sylvia grinned and fished around in her bag pulling out an ultra ball. "Alright Cruncher, now use slash!" She cried. Cruncher roared striking at zygarde with a claw. Sylvia smirked. "Ok, now for an ultra ball!" She yelled, throwing the ultra ball at zygarde. The ball hit zygarde opening up and lured the huge pokemon inside.

One.

Two.

Three.

Suddenly, the ball burst open and zygarde escaped. Sylvia squeaked, surprised that it had escaped. Zygarde roared, using dragon pulse once more. This time, it hit garchomp. "Cruncher! Are you okay?" She asked. "Gar!" Cruncher replied standing up.

"Thanks! I'm pretty sure she thinks so too..." I smiled slyly as the Psychic Pokemon licked her was and smoothed back her fur. "Espeon!" She squeaked, her tail waving about.

Yoru
"I'm pretty sure Absol's not the one doing the bullying!" I laughed as Zorua decided to hop about on his head, flapping her wings and screeching. "Now come on, you don't want to be too bothersome, huh?" She gazed at me in a way that clearly meant 'no way' and went back to bouncing on the Absol's fur. "What do your ay about that, Absol?" I asked mine. He looked haughtily at his surroundings before tilting his head to the right. "Absol." I grinned again. "Best response you'll ever get from him! Unless you have pockets full of berries. Practically any type, he'll just jump onto them!" At the word berries, Absol straightened a bit and shifted from paw to paw. "Seeee?" I snickered.

Piper scoffed, sitting down and crossing her legs on Rayquaza's head. "They can't beat the Johto champion. Though they did get Red..." she said thoughtfully, but stood off. She smirked, and her violet eyes flashed with determintation. "Johto Champion Piper challenging Hoenn Elite Four Hakumei and Yami!" she shouted. "Goomy! Rayquaza! Go!"

They further they went, the darker it got. But that was what Magnezone was for. If it got too dark, the electric pokemon would light up the cave with flash, even if the effect lasted only for a while. "That roar sounds familiar... Yet, I can't seem to place where I've heard it. The other though..." Colress said, as he closed his eyes, pondering where he had heard the cries before. One cry was familiar, the other, was not.

"It sounds like a battle up ahead." N stated, as the sounds of crashes and roars reached them. "Perhaps the one that is familiar to you is a garchomp, since that's what one of the cries sound like. The other, no, I do not know that cry." It was one of the first time he hadn't been able to identify a pokemon through their sounds, but then again, there were still many pokemon he had yet to meet. Most likely, this would be one of those unknown pokemon. "Let us see what is going on up ahead."

Aurora smiled when she saw what Espeon was doing, and reached a hand out to touch the pinkish pokemon. Yet, she realized she was about to pet the pokemon without Yume's permission, and quickly retracted her hand. "Sorry..." Aurora said with a shake of her head. How careless she was. She couldn't do such a thing without asking... "Come out, Glaceon." The Sinnoh champion whispered, and from her pokeball popped out a light blue pokemon.
"Glaceon!" The pokemon meowed out, before spotting Espeon. "Glace?" Glaceon padded over to Espeon, tilting her head as she came to a stop before the pinkish pokemon.

Absol rolled her eyes as Zorua continued her antics, jumping around her. "Ab." The absol said, tilting her head. As for Lucario... Then maybe you could spare a few berries and give some to Absol?

Aurora laughed. "Well, I do have a few berries." She said as she looked at Yoru's Absol. "Your Absol really must like berries though, for his reaction to be like that. Am I allowed to give him some berries...?"

Yami sighed. Great, up against a legendary, huh? And a goomy as well. Geez, they were in for a tough one. Alright, so strategy... Rayquaza was weak against Ice, dragon and rock along with fairy.What couldn't hit the serpent like pokemon was ground. Every other type besides fighting, bug, water, fire and grass dealt normal damage... Alrght then. "Frolass, it's your turn now." Yami said, throwing the pokeball up in the air. A few seconds later, the female pokemon appeared, standing beside Hakumei's chosen pokemon.

"Let's go, Sylveon!" Both Sylveon and Frolass stood side by side, awaiting their trainer's orders.

"Alright, Sylveon! Misty Terrain!" "Froslass! Blizzard!"

At once, the forest was floor was covered with mist, hiding from view the pokemon on ground level. While this affected Yami's and Hakumei's pokemon as well, Hakumei felt it would be a good idea, seeing as how the move halved the damage received from dragon type moves and prevented certain status ailments. Her turn done, Sylveon jumped behind Frolass as the other whipped up a blizzard.
