I then almost fell asleep as I was walking up my second set of stairs to get to my bedroom. i walked there and walked into the bathroom and had a quick sower. I had been up all night. i was tired. I took off my make up and walked back to bed and lied down falling asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I was exhausted.

I was feeling a side-effect for every ability that was returning really, but I stifled most of the sound. It was what it was going to take to be able to defend myself and possibly be able to talk things out with Peter, fine. I kept telling myself I've had worse, and I have.
I was assuming my abilities would need time to come back normally (ironically) but I repeated the message again, to make sure I heard him clearly. I tried explaining it in my head.
"Why had I not been there for you?"
Don't lie to yourself Peter, come on. You were always there. You were in The Wall with me in my hell and you made it enjoyable.
"I am so sorry."
You shouldn't be. After all I've done, I should be apologizing.
"I was only thinking about myself."
No, you weren't. You did what you thought was best for the both of us.
"Not about how you would have taken it."
But you did. You knew it would hurt but you knew it was for the best. That's all.
I need to explain to him that this wasn't his fault...but I needed my abilities back first. And to clarify again where he was...I wasn't sure. She had said the island but I was wanting to double-check.

I continued dreaming. I was dreaming about Gabriel.. Then something happened I awoke with a start. I then jolted out of bed and ran down stairs. "gabriel, you cant search for where peter is." i say in a tush. I was panting and I was still really tired. I didnt know what I as going to do. I needed to make sure that he would not go after peter. If he did... then he was going to get himself captured.

I frankly jolted. More so literally than anything. It had been more than an hour since she went upstairs, and my powers have steadily returned. I was trying to get the feel of electricity back. Henceforth, I shocked myself by mistake.
Hearing what she said, out of shock, I turned.
"And why is that? He's back at the island isn't he?" I tried to confirm.
Well...wasn't he? That's what she had said earlier. Why couldn't I go after him? I was just going to wait until she got up that way I could explain myself and then leave.

"No he's not" i panted. "he's with someone else. This was taped form a week ago." i blurted out assuming that he didnt get his powers back. I didnt want him going to the company. he was going to be thrown into level elevens cell and he was never going to return. I needed to make sure that he was going to go nowhere near that place.

"'Someone else'? What's that supposed to mean?" I asked another question. This wasn't adding up very well, and I wanted answers.
That...and I had felt a noticeable tingle. Not big, like it normally would be if I had my abilities back fully, but I didn't. This wasn't right...it didn't sound right. This is confusing.

"he's going out with someone else. He's forgotten about you. He dosent care for you anymore. This was recorded a while ago." I say as I finish panting and i want to go back to sleep. I was still really tired. i had been up all night. I also needed to protect Gabriel. i was going to have to tell him a white lie. It was the only way.

The tingling returned once more. A lie, I knew it now. Although I wouldn't elaborate.
"Really?" I said, with disbelief and a bit of sarcasm. "Who then? If you are happening to monitor him, that is."
I have learned to be less and less gullible, although sometimes I do never learn. But this...there's a feeling. A gut feeling, and it's simply telling me something's up. Even without this stupid lie detector, it's the feeling that matters. Something's not right. And I know it isn't that Peter is dating someone else.

I had her right there. Was he there or was he not? Either way I'm going to check, and she cannot stop me. She's just going to make all of this harder on herself and me if she doesn't explain. If she did it would make things a lot easier for the both of us.
