I then bit my lip a little. He was going to get into a whole little speech like what Gabriel would always do when he was upset. Athough there was nothing that I could do. "Ill be fine, Do you need help with anything?" I asked standing up and putting the recorder back in my pocket. I then cocked my head to the left a little like a dog awaiting instruction.

"Not particularly, but thank you. I think I'm just going to clean up the mess and then go home," I sighed a little.
Mainly it was directed at the fact that no one had come over at all excluding Jane, and I had set everything up. Not fancy really, but it was good enough, so it was somewhat of a disappointment that I had set it all up for really no reason.
On the flip side, it was nice to know what gets at Peter. Apparently taunting, Sylar. Wait, excuse me, "Gabriel". I snickered at the thought. Please. He isn't anything but a murderer trying to prove something, but he's falling on deaf ears.

'Alright" I said as I began to walk off. I exited the cell and I needed to go back upstairs grab the vile, change into more comfortable cloths and begin working on the new serum Gabe needed all the help that he could get. I was also going to give this to him. It wont prove anything. I will say that we left a micro-. Oh never mind... He can sense if i am lying.

I went back down to the main floor which is where I had set everything up obviously and started to put everything away. I had an idea and put some of the food I had actually bought in the break room. It wouldn't go to waste then, and it wasn't poison since it was obviously declaring a name brand on the packaging. Better than taking it all home, which is what I'm going to do with most everything else.
After putting everything in all the bags, I left without a word. I couldn't exactly say goodbye to Jane since I wasn't sure where she had went, but I didn't bother locking up since she was here. That and I needed sleep. I drove off home shortly after exiting the doors.

I then ran up the stairs and onto the main floor. Noah had left. so i grabbed the bag with the stringe and a bunch of food ssince I was starving. i was going to have to hope that Gabriel would be alright without me. I then rushed back down and onto level three. I walked passed the cells and into my lab. I stationed everything where I needed it and whent back to work.
About three hours later I was done with the food. The formula was still coming since I didnt have the original chemical arrangement it was going to be harder for me to finish quicker. Anyways. When I got to work and was almost finished I paused for a second then looked at the syrum. It had bonded with Gabriels DNA. I then checked the clock. It was almost seven in the morning. I had been up all night. I filled a new needle with the new bonded Syrum. I was done. I then took in a deep breath and cleaned up my lab. i would be back in a while. I then ran back up the stairs feeling the tiredness kick in. I got up and walked over to my car driving home.
I parked and got out opening the door. I then walked over to the door and unlocked it feeling like my feet were led . I carefully held the syringe that was going to give Gabriel back his powers. I opened my mouth but no words were escaping my lips, I had lost my voice.

I heard a door click open, which had woken me up. I felt like I had gotten tired as a result from actually sleeping too long, if it had made any sense. Either way, I still felt weird.
What time is it? was a groggy thought, and I had gotten used to being able to know whenever I wanted. Obviously, this was no longer the case. Getting up from the couch, I checked my watch.
Seven thirty...PM? No, Jane left at...
That late? No wonder I felt funny, how did I sleep that long? Idiot. That's probably her coming back from work. She must have been there all night, now I felt bad.
Walking downstairs with a bit of a kink in my neck, I clarified it was Jane.
"Hi," I wore a slight smile, then let it fade. She looked overworked beyond belief.
"Need help?" I inquired. She looked like she was ready to pass out.

I then handed him the syringe. I probably looked pale. Since well I felt like it. "I finished. it is comparable. Here ya go, have your powers back" I say as I take my shoes off. I had eaten a bunch or orderves all night and well I had finished three firths of everything there. It wasnt much really. And it was all ready good. I have a hunch that Noah made it all and well I needed to congratulate him. "This is also for you" I say giving him the recording that was of peter. "The company took it a while ago, I recorded it for you. We planted a microphone on Peter and this is what came through"

"Thanks, you really didn't need to stay up-"
I paused at the mention of his name. Recalling everything that happened and felt again saddened at the memory.
"You...recorded him?" I asked that question that she had already clarified. I was a bit distraught, from sleeping too long and at this now recent news. Why would they plant a microphone on him for? Not like they had anything to gain from him walking around the island doing whatever really. It meant they had to be pretty close...this scares me. I don't hate him for anything he's done, I don't want anything to happen to anyone on the island.

I then nodded a little. "he's begging for your forgiveness. Play it back and you will see. I need to have a shower and sleep, so take the syrum and listen to the recording whenever. Its not like I am a very light sleeper. plus I am exhausted" I say as i begin to trudge up the stairs. I was exhausted and I had a feeling like all of my body language explained that.

"I um, thanks, really, for this..." I sighed.
He had? For what? I left, he shouldn't forgive me for anything. That's why he wanted me gone. He just proved me right that's all, maybe I should be thankful. I was blind.
I stayed downstairs to be a bit quieter, and looked at the recorder. I decided not to take the injection yet since I was wary of side-effects distracting me from hearing what he had said. I would take it afterward. I shakily hit the small arrow that declared it was the "play" button, and listened without saying a word.
"Why had I not been there for you? I am so sorry.... I was only thinking about myself. Not about how you would have taken it."
That is what I heard, a bit muffled, and I felt like I was tearing up again. He didn't need to be there for me...he wasn't...I...gosh. It wasn't his fault, it was mine.
I solemnly took the syrum, hoping it would work. Praying really...I wanted to see where Peter was later. We could talk...I left everyone behind. I should have explained myself.
