The Fairy Tail Parade (Accepting)

"have i ever shown you proof that i shouldn't be trusted?...you know what don't answer that" Apollo said

"what he said" Apollo replied

He looked at her. "Are you okay?" He asked, putting his hand to her forehead. "Nightmare?" He asked.

Jax took a deep breath and nodded, "It was only a memory..." She said softly, knowing she wouldn't be able to sleep now.

"I swear too" Sophie said her curiosity sparked.

[harmonizing]

"Okay. here it goes."


It was a slow day. Winds raced at high speeds and many people were bundled up in thick coats. Except for a man with tattered, ripped, and ragged clothes. a hat was placed near his side, which held 3 pennies and gum. A necklace dropped in the hat with a 'clank' He looked at it with deep eyes and picked it up. It was pure gold, with carvings in it that looked like waves. He smirked and took his hat and face it on the ground. He turned his sign around and ran to the jewlery store across the block. He dumped the necklace on the table and the man looked at him, wide-eyed. "The emblem of October... Where did you get this?" He asked, grabbing his shirt collar. "S-someone gave it to me. I need money.." The counterman raised an eyebrow and snatched the necklace. He gave him 5 solid gold bricks in return. The hobo grabbed them, and slunk the floor in heaviness, but stood up and walked out.

+2 Years Later+

The previous hobo was now rich, and lived alone in a mansion. However, there was a war. Over the necklace he had given to the counter man. One day, he had had enough. He stomped outside and snatched the emblem. He explained how all this happened because of him. The townmates were furious, and threw him out of town. He swore revenge on them and placed the emblem over his neck. It whispered, "Wait Until October. Then My Power Shall Shine" He obeyed, and returned next october, and the emblem created such magic fumes that it knocked the townmates silly, and killing them. The man laughed with such power, as he had all the magic power in the world. A Townmate still was alive though. He slain the evil man and took the emblem. He locked it away, and restored the magic to everyone who was destined to be born with it. There was extra, so they went into Lacrimas. Nobody was to have the emblem. If a person wore the emblem in October, they would turn evil, and have great magic power. But to possess the power, you must have a pet, a calender with the O on October traced in red dye, and another necklace, that is blue. The emblem has been locked away for years, but 5 years ago, it was stolen, and never recovered.


He ended his story, while handing his head and twiddling his fingers.

Natsu smiled at jax and took her hand. He squeezed it. "You're all healed. what do you want to do now?"

Jax smiled back, squeezing his hand. "Vacation?" She asked as a response, her head tilted slightly.

[harmonizing]

"Vacation!" He smiled. He randomly ran into a storage closet and came out with a strawhat, lemonade, a blue bag with peach flowers on it, sunglasses, a beach chair, shorts and a tangtop, and sunscreen planted on his Face. "This has been in the storage closet for wa-a-y to long!" He laughed.

After hearing the story Sophie started digging through her bag.

Jax's eyebrows rose as a smile spread on her face, giggling slightly. "I still have to pack, you can come to my house with me if you want." The teen told Natsu, standing up off the bed.

"Sure!" He exclaimed, following her.


"What are you doing?" The master asked curiously.

Jax headed into the forest, following a slightly beaten path, leading to a creek with a cottage across it on a bridge. "Welcome to my homestead, it was one of my clan's out of town homes. My clan wasn't based out of Magnolia." She told Natsu, crossing the creek to the adorable cottage.
