Without even knowing exactly what she was doing, Lady Fleur followed Cue's trail, her emerald eyes widening in anxiousness as she gathered up curious and awed stares, moving gracefully, her hair streaming behind her like white sunlight. A smile was already flitting across her perfect features as she slowed and walked onto the pathway, seeing Cue's distant figure among those of two others. She simply stood there, her hands gently lying at her side, brushing against the satin of her elegant dress.

Jer hissed in disgust. "What woman would ever want you? Certainly not a sane one." Boy, was he wrong, but he was yet to know that Cue's own lady was that of Lady Fleur. The two nobles had met before and were rather pleasant around each other, though not the greatest of friends. Jer had always thought that Fleur took her responsibilities too lightly, like a foolish, petty child. He realized that Fleur was young, but she was the Lady of the Denoumont house now.
Eva's voice cut through his thoughts. "I don't know. It seems to be more lust than love." He hissed scornfully.

Edward knelt down by Celeste, carefully cradling her head in his pale and slender, yet strong hand, observing her features and the delicate angles of her chin and nose. "Before I change her, I suppose I should like to know what kind of a woman she is. She has the looks," He shot Corbett a dubious look; Edward certainly was a vane man, despite the efforts he made to be less egotistical. "But does she have the class?" He winked at his long time friend, and then cast his amber gaze back down to Celeste's face, waiting for her to wake up.
