Joffrey reeled back, as though he'd been slapped. "You can't--you just--you can't--telling Mother--" Eventually his rambling became incomprehensible stuttering, and when he finally silenced, he fixed Kakashi with the most sour glare he could muster, all the while imagining all of the possible sentences he could deliver if this happened in Westeros. How dare anyone disrespect him! If Kakashi was Westerosi, this could be considered treason! At least the other two are polite... he thought grudgingly, edging slightly closer to the Doctor. He was still glaring daggers at Kakashi.

Kakashi reached into his back pocket while Joffrey stuttered and stumbled over his words. The Adult Novel was caught between two of his fingers, and he flipped it open, picking up where he'd left off. Telling mother? Kakashi thought with concealed humor, laughing inwardly. "Well, doctor, I say we begin investigating the area. I'd like to think that there's a good reason we all got dragged here, wouldn't you?" he didn't look up from his book, though he kept reading with ease. Most people would be bothered by his behavior, thinking there is a time and place for reading books of that sort, but to Kakashi it was always the time and the place. "You may join us, too, Joffrey, just try not to get hurt." Kakashi fed the flamces of Joffrey's frustration intentionally. It wasn't that he wanted to genuinely upset the child. Well, not really. He was just testing him.

The Doctor sighed as the two fought. "We're all trapped in an alternate universe, and you two are arguing." he huffed.

[A.Kira-]

Kakashi's eye narrowed. "Not arguing," he waved the book slightly, as if to swat away the statement. "Arguing would get me nowhere. I wan't to get back home, I have a war to be fighting in right now." he stopped there. He did need to get home. His village had been destroyed not long ago, and they were in the late stages of rebuilding, as well as dealing with the dawn of the next great ninja war. He pushed away the thoughts, knowing stressing wouldn't help either. "Are you two going to help me investigate?" he asked, taking a few steps into the town, watching the two. He understood how his way of coming to understand Joffrey's behavior would be mistaken as arguing. Joffrey probably saw it that way as well. Kakashi just liked to know what kind of people he was dealing with. He was collecting chakra inside of him, preparing to use Kage Bunshin jutsu.
