Ari sat down near a table and picked up a vase of flowers. All of a sudden,it felt as if the whole room were frozen. The water in the vase froze and the glass began to crack. "What's happening?"She muttered.

Kayne coud see the pain in Thaddeus' face and leaned forward to get a look. "What's wrong?" He gasped worriedly.

Lance blunk, looking at Ari. He was holding two glasses of punch in his hand. "Hey Ari. Is something wrong, little sis?" He asked, looking at the vase.

"I'm fine" She choked out,smoke curling away from her mouth. The burning was back. Maybe she wasn't hallucinating when she saw Knight fighting that other man.She looked around the room and slipped. What the...She looked down and saw that the floor was covered with Ice and everyone was staring at Ari. "She's awitch!"Someone called out.Soon the cry was echoing through the room. "Witch!" "Witch!"

Ari looked at her brother and the two glasses of punch in his hand froze and theglass shattered. Soon the entire floor was covered with Ice and the frozen feeling in her stomach continued.People stared at her in shockand confusion.She saw Thaddeus fall and began to point and laugh at her when the cries of 'witch' started going around.

Lance jerked back, his hands bleeding. "A-Ari..." He muttered, staring at her. How many... He blunk then tured to Mayia and nodded with a serious look on his face. He ran to Ari and grabbed her. "Begone Witch!" He shouted to settle the crowd as he dragged her out under Mayia's cover. Mayia and dragged with Lance as they ran by and a barrier was set to make them look like they had vanished. Lance hid in the yard in the bushes that they use to play fort in. It was the only place no one inside the manor knew about. "Shhh." He said to hush them and held his hand in his lap, watching for the others. Mayia had been drained of power after using that move and lay on the ground, breathing heavily but quietly.

Kayne spotted Lance running. "Thad, come on." He whispered, running towards the door. He only went two steps and slid the rest of the way.

Thaddeus pickked him up and ran out,the Ice melting under her feet from theheat she wasgiving off. She tried to keep up with Lance but it seemed as if the three of them had disappeared. She dropped Kayne none to graciously and clutched her head. It seemed as if both her arms were completely on Fire.Once again,it didn't burn her,but the pain in her hand was excrucianting.

"Thad! Your arms!" Kayne gasped. He looked over at the bushes where their fort was. "We have to hide." He pleaded, wanting to reach out to Thaddeus, but he was too scared.

Lance wasn't sure they were getting out soon and looked at his hands, They were bleeding. He pulled out the glass pieces. "You're... filled with surprises." He chuckled to Ari. Brushing his silver hair out of his golden eyes. "Have you been good?" He chuckled.

"This is no time to laugh!"Ari hissed. "What just happened in there?!"

"I-I'm fine."She choked out,smoke pouring out of her mouth. The flames subsided and she stood shakily,still completely burn free.She took Kayne's hand and let him lead her.

Kayne got her to the hidden fort in the bushes. It looked big enough for a family of seven when further in and only the kids of the house know about it. Lance helped Kayne get in with Thaddeus. "You've just got your powers, Ari." He sighed, looking to see if anyone followed. "Come on." He said, lifting Mayia onto his back and heading deeper into the fort. He clapped his hands and candles lit all around the cave. He put Mayia down on one of the six beds that were down there. "I remember when we use to play down here." He smiled.

Kayne nodded and helped Thaddeus to get to one of the beds. They were low to the ground and easy to move.

"What do you mean my Powers?!?"Ari shouted and promptly got a still smoking hand smaked over her mouth by Thaddeus.She shoved the hand of and scowled like a pouting child. "This is perposterous.There'sno such thing as powers.Now why does everyone think I'm a witch?"

Thaddeus,after stoppin g Ari from screaming to the world passed out on the bed.

Lance snapped his fingers again and a wall of earth rose up to shut the entrance. "Do you still think that?" He smirked, waipin off his hands. He went to the little stream at the back of he cave and touched the water. It stayed on his hands like gloves and healed the cuts on his hands. "It was just about time until you got your powers too. Kayne has his already." He chucked, walking back to them and sitting on the bed.

Mayia watched silently, sitting on the bed with her feet resting on the floor.
