Thaddeus bit her lip. "No,not yet."She said. "You passed out for a little while."She replied quietly,feeling his chest for a heart beat. His pulse didn't seem quite right some how...

Ari nodded. "Yes." She tried to stop the ice from growing so quickly around her,but it was hard.

[Mayiamaru]

Knight raised his hand and grabbed Thaddeus' wrist. "You're not going to find a pulse..." He said with a small chuckle in his tone.

Mayia looked at the ice forming and quickly had an idea. "Ari. Maybe you can help Knight cool down."

Thaddeus frowned slightly. "Why not?"She asked him. "Everyone has a pulse,Knight."

Ari looked at Knight out of the side of her eyes,but merely asked. "How do I do that?Just cover him in Ice?"

[Mayiamaru]

Knight just chuckled and shook his head slowly. "No one in my family does." He said quietly to preserve strength.

Mayia shook her head. "I think you just need to stand near him. Your powers are a little out of control and Knight might be able to even it out while you cool off his wound."

Knight glanced back at Mayia and Ari and raised an eyebrow. "Since when did I agree to this?" He was slowly regaining strength, but his voice was weaker than usual.

Thaddeus's eyes widened slightly. "Well that's...new..." She said quietly. "How can you be alive if you don't have a pulse?" She asked him.

Ari nodded and took a few steps toward Knight,ignoring his question. She closed her eyes and frost began to creep up the side off the couch and over Knight.

Thad,in order to keep it from becoming over powering,raised her body temperature a little bit since she was sitting near him.

[Mayiamaru]

Knight just sighed a bit then finally answered Thaddeus' question. "Our bodies just function. Blood circulates without the need of a heart. That's why there isn't a pulse." He was able to speak a little better. The chill from Ari was helping to easy the burning sensation from his wound.

Mayia slipped away to the kitchen to make some tea. Hunter followed. Kayne just sat in the big brown chair by the fireplace, admiring the wood trimmings. I've never seen anything like this... I wonder where he bought it... He mentally asked himself. He planned to ask Skye later.

Knight looked over at Kayne and smirked. "He made it. You're not going to find a duplicate."

Thaddeus nodded and looked away. A bit of Ari's ice crept up to her,but she immediately melted it. The ice couldn't withstand the heat coming off her body.

Ari opened one eye slightly to see what the frost was doing. Knight appeared to be feeling better,so she reduced the amount of frost.

((Bleh...fail post.))

[Mayiamaru]

Knight stretched a bit and yawned. Kayne was shocked when Knight replied to his thought. "What? I didn't know he-"
"Of give it a rest. You've met him before. You know how perfect he is." Knight scowled, glaring forward.

Mayia came out shortly, holding a platter with five cups of tea and a small tea pot. She put it on the plain little coffee table and started handing out the cups. First Thaddeus, then Knight, then Ari and finally she took one for herself. "Would you like any?" She asked Kayne, not sure if he liked tea, but Kayne didn't answer. He was still in shock.

Thaddeus thanked her for the tea and began to sip it. After a while,she looked around the room,set her cup down and said. "Um,I'm going to go outside and practice..." The girl stood up and left the room,Felix trailing behind her. On his way out,the dog growled at Knight and nudged Thad on the back of her leg.

Ari made an attempt to drink her tea,but as soon as she brought the cup to her lips,the drink froze over. She sighed and sat down on the floor. Her skin was covered in frost and her hair,which had already been white to begin with,was now intertwined with long peices of ice,not to mention that everything on the floor within a 12 inch raidus of her was frozen.

Knight nodded. "Alright. See ya Thad. Be careful!" Knight then looked at Ari and just laughed a bit, putting his right hand onto Ari's head. Strangely, all the frost wouldn't come near him, and when he touched Ari's head, her hair was frost free and dry. Knight didn't even notice. He was back to his usual happy self.

Mayia sighed and handed Kayne the cup. Kayne snapped out of it and took a sip. "I'm gonna go watch Thad practice." He said, putting the cup on the plater, half full. He followed Thaddeus eagerly.
