Lyra felt eyes on her for a moment... She whipped her head around, noticing just a flash of gleaming red. A boy seemed to be doing a similar thing as her, watching the refugees and staying at the edge. Perhaps he as waiting for the line to die down, too, but nothing was for certain anymore. She missed the old times when a place like this would be used for public battles... Where bets would be placed on teams and where friendships would be made. Friendship. The term was so cheesy and unreal now. The only friendship she knew of was the bond between her and her Pokémon.

Lisa watched as the other twin dragged his brother kicking and screaming into the alleyways, calling after them, "Keep your brother in line next time!" Someone tapped her on the shoulder, and she turned to see man saying solemnly, "I wouldn't tell them to go through those alleyways. Unsavory people in there." Oh for... He's right. They don't have pokemon like I do. They can't defend themselves.
Breathing a heavy sigh, she turned her head over her shoulder to see people starting to move again, the flow regaining its speed before the two disrupted it. Closing her eyes, she strode to the alleyway again, reaching into her bag and closing it around Elegance's pokeball. She would see them through the alley, but no more.

Darren let go of his brother, who fell to the ground. Giving a sigh, he looked back to see the lady. "Madame. Is something the matter?" He asked as Derek got up, rubbing his arm.

"What's the big idea Darren!? I didn't hit anyone!"yelled Derek as he held a fist to his brother, only to get a sigh for a responce.
"You didn't hit anyone, yes, but you were incredibly rude to everyone."Darren told Derek calmly, returning his attention to the lady.

Running a hand through her hair, she sighed, "I just realized that I shouldn't have sent two young boys in a dark alleyway with no protection. I'll see you through where you want to go, because I don't want to go to bed having a choppy conscience. Where is it you're heading?" She looked past their shoulders to scope out if anyone was there, but she couldn't shake the feeling she was being watched all the same.

[Heartz Exodus]

Teirce continued his observations with apathy, as if he were watching a bad movie. After a few minutes more the beginnings of boredom set in. He shrugged and debated on pestering the girl who he spotted earlier.

"Well I want out of here so I can beat the s*** out of whats-his-face! He took Reno away from us and almost got Angi and Devi.."Derek said, this time, trying to contain his anger before kicking a can into the alleyway.

Darren looked over at his brother. "Reno is the Flareon our father gave us."he explained before tapping Derek on the sholder. "We'll get Reno back brother."he soothed.

Lyra glanced up at the sky. It had been a while since she fed her Pokémon... She pulled her duffel bag close and stood, glancing around a bit at first. Then the thin framed girl disappeared into a small wooded area. She was busy thinking hard about why supplies she had left... Her berry bag was starting to get small. That meant Lyra would have to search out another shady dealer. It was the only way to get Pokémon supplies nowadays. Lyra sighed as she stopped in a clearing and crouched down. Reaching under her belt, she pulled out a single pokéball. She tapped it, letting grow larger in her hand. It was Riptide's pokéball. She tossed it gently against the ground, realizing the wartortle in a flash of light.

Lisa flinched violently at their openness, wondering how in the world they survived thus far. Expression darkening, she gripped them both by the shoulder and hissed, "You'd do well not to say that to anyone. You're lucky I'm not desperate enough to turn you in for a reward." Releasing them, she sighed, "Don't think that your age protects you from terrorist labels. They don't discriminate." She released her pokeball, looking up at the hazy sky.

[Heartz Exodus]

Teirce looked over and noticed the girl had disappeared. She probably left while he was looking at something else. Either way he could care less. Teirce decided he'd go find something entertaining, and he seemed to vanish into the crowd.

Lyra rationed out her berries to each one of her six Pokémon. She felt bad for not having enough for a proper meal, but the current situation only allowed limited resources. Lyra tucked away all her pokéballs once more and exited the woods, entering the crowd once more. What if some of thee refugees were like her? She thought. What if they wanted to fight back? She stuck her hands in her hoodie front pocket as she trailed around the outside of the group.

Mel watched as they talked and pressed his back to the wall. He took the egg from his backpack and sighed. " please ...dont be dead. I you for a while." He took a seat on the ground and kept the egg snugged. After he dozed off again, the egg begin to move slightly
