I yawned, then picked up my magazine. I had already read the while thing through. Twice. I wanted next month copy, but I still had to wait a week.

I pulled out my journal before a group of tourists got out of their bus and filed into the Mystery Shack. I shoved the book back inside my vest with a grumble.

Wendy
Almost instantly, I was swarmed by tourists asking questions and wanting to be things.

Already, a customer had knocked over a rack if T-shirts that I had to clean up. This job had its perks, but it could be really bad.

"Hey don't... Touch that," I muttered as a kid broke a snow globe. "Great," I muttered, grabbing a broom and mop.

I out the rack of shirts back where it should have been.

First I swept up the plastic, then was able to mop up the water and glitter bits.
