Uhm, if Tapas faints and I have to send out Iggy, I'd like to flee because he can't do anything except teleport.
But do I then still get exp?

(Yeah, you can't do much with him.. xD And yes, even if you don't win the battle or flee you will still gain a level for every pokemon you knock out, so your pokemon will at least gain one level each.)
