Selene very nearly smiled as Lindin sat down next to her. But she didn't as her mind drifted to something else. "Have you heard any of the news lately?" she asked now mentioning any of his other questions

Angel walked over to her jeep angrily and went over to the trunk rifling through it

Midnight who had stayed on the log hissed at okus dog

"Please Ami..." Kacey hushed her and hugged Ami tightly. "Please don't cry. I don't want to see you cry. Please?" He had a somewhat pleading tone in his voice. It was upsetting.

Lindin put his arm across Selene's shoulders. "I have actually. Tough break with Ryan." He sighed. Personally, he didn't like Ryan too much, but hid it pretty well.

Selene nodded but still didn't say anything for a moment. "Where's Alex?" she questioned quietly after a moment.

Ami wiped her eyes, "I'm sorry." She said, "I-I just..." She trailed off sadly. "It's hard to see you go, even if you're coming back."

"She's in camp I think." Lindin sighed and curled his legs up to his chest, resting his head on his knees. "Why? Something wrong?"

Kacey rested his head ontop of Ami's and hummed to himself. "It's hard to go." He replied and swayed back and forth with her.

"It's nothing," Selene muttered quietly looking at her wrists where Leo had pushed her to the wall. They were still a bit red, and would probably bruise over. 'That's great' she thought as she stood and looked at Lindin again. "It may be a while before we see each other again I suppose," she muttered

Ami didn't say anything. She kissed Kacey for maybe the last time.

"Why are you saying that?" Lindin asked and stood up also. He looked at Selene's wrists and raised and eyebrow. "What happened?"

Kacey kissed Ami back, not wanting to pull away. He felt terrible for dragging her and Aaron in all of this and wanted to make it up to her some way. The only way he could though, was try and comfort her.
