"I don't really have any unless you think I should write a will or something. Though I don't really have anything, so what's the point in that. I also didn't ask you to apologize to me. None of this is your fault, you weren't there," Selene said standing as she yawned. She sighed as she rubbed her shoulder. "This is going to be great," she muttered walking back towards the house.

Lindin walked next to her. "You don't get it do you?", he huffed under his breath.

"Get what?" Selene asked looking at Lindin.

[barbconn]

"You don't get that you have so much", he explained, "But you continue to push away the fact that you do". Lindin shoved his hands into his pockets and continued watching his feet.

"What do I have exactly?" Selene asked a bit shocked.

[barbconn]

"Well, you used to have Kacey and the Secrets, but gave that up because you felt they hated you, which I doubt", Lindin sighed, "You have Serdin who seems to give at least a thought about you, which is more than most. You have your mom who continues to try and make amends, but you refuse to believe her. Then you have me, and I have been trying to help you as much as possible".

"It's not that I believe the Secrets hate me," Selene muttered closing her eyes. "It's better for Serdin to think that. I came here, hoping that if I took Kacey's place then Serdin would maybe leave the Secrets alone. They need Kacey, and Kacey needs them. He's the best alpha they'll ever have, and it's better for him not too have to leave that," she said calmly answering his first statement. "As to Serdin and my mom, I still don't really understand them completely. Forgive me if I don't see what you do. But Serdin pretty much told me I was going to die and left. Sarah may be a bit different, but I don't really have the time to find that out do I?" she asked shaking her head. "You on the other hand, I agree with. I'm lucky to have you," she said as they got closer to the house.

"Hm... I think you have time, but it depends I guess", Lindin shrugged, "You'll live. But who am I to judge wether you will or not?". He opened the door to the house and walked in.

Selene laughed lightly. "Maybe I will, after all I'm related to both Kacey and Serdin so who knows," she muttered walking into the house.

Lindin shook his head and laughed. "Those two are the difference between night and day", he remarked, "The only thing that even remotely relates them is their looks in my opinion".
