The scauldron quickly opened his mouth, revealing a mouthfull of large venomous teeth. He very carefully began biting the brambles that held the Night Fury. He tried to stay away from the fire as much as possible, because it would dry his skin out faster.

"Splash, I burnt them to help her. What we need is ice water." Stormfly said.

[Colonel Sarcasm]

"Oh, sorry about that", he replied, "Ice water? Can't help you there, but if you need boiling water, I'm always glad to help. Her skin would be able to resist the heat."

"She's thrashing because the fire is burning her." Stormfly huffed.

[Colonel Sarcasm]

"Well, I could go get Heather, I'm sure she would know what to do", Splash replied, heading toward the village. "I'll be right back."

"OK. But hurry!" Stormfly called after him.

Willow tried to grab at Stormfly's tail but failed as the thorns cut her legs.

"Willow!" Stormfly gasped as she started to fall. "HELP!" she called in panic.

[Colonel Sarcasm]

Splash heard Stormfly's yell and hurried his pace. He landed next to the lab and put his nose through the window, next to where Heather was working. "What is it now?", she asked as she walked through the door. Splash picked up one of the emergency buckets that were kept near the lab in case an experiment went wrong. "Something wrong? Ok, we'll go now", she said, "Here you can carry a bucket in your mouth and another in your claws." She gave her dragon two buckets full of cold water and took two herself. She carefully climbed onto her saddle and Splash took off. They soon landed where the Night Fury was struggling with Stormfly trying to help her. "Ok Splash. I'm going to pour this water into your mouth and fly up and spray the brambles and the dragon", she said as she poured the water into the Scauldron's mouth. "Hurry, Splash, before the water boils!", she yelled as the Scauldron hovered above the dragon. He sprayed the cold water onto the dragon and the brambles, smothering the flames.
