James shrugged. "Do I look like I have any sort of idea?" He snapped.

"Considering what clown-head here said, yes, you do." Dedan snaps, already starting to get frustrated with James. "You had better show me some ______ respect too. I can throw you into the furnace." He says, believing that humans burned the same way Elsen did. "Now tell me." He says. Surprisingly, this was his calmer side.

Aline sighs, frowning as both she and. Berry sneak off. Berry had persuaded her to come along with him. "C'mon... Maybe we can find mine or something that gives off smoke." He says, dragging Aline by the hand. Elsens didn't typically have relationships, so to them, hand-holding was just a way of not getting lost.

Cronus was outside with a lighter in hand.

James laughed. "Pshaw, I'd like to see you try to kill me! I'm immortal!" He grinned arrogantly. "Clown head dude lied. I have no more idea where we are than you are." He retorted as he crossed his arms.

Dedan smirks, as much as he can, considering his face... "All that means is that I get to lock you in the furnace. I could have constant entertainment." He says, and rests his forehead in his hand. "Of course... Let me guess, you two are doing absolutely nothing to actually find out, either. You two are just as useless as the Elsen."

Berry continued to lead Aline around, before leading her outside. He sees the glimmer of a lighter, pointing it out to the female behind him. "We could use that to burn something... And get the smoke..." He says, shaking from weakness. He already felt lightheaded from lack of smoke. When Aline nods, he takes her hand again before walking to Cronus. "C-can we borrow that lighter..? If that's okay. W-we need to burn something." He says.

"BlUh!" Gamzee made a face, "Im not a clown!" But he paused to think it over, "Not a clown!"

James laughed. "We're totally doing something. We're dissing on that guy's ridiculous cosplay." He said as he jerked a thumb over at Gamzee. He smirked slightly at Dedan's next comment. "Worthless? Ha! You try running almost two states!" He said arrogantly. He had to help his twin run his state since Ric couldn't do much for himself.

Cronus glanced at the Elsens. "Uhh, okay I guess?" He said as he lit his cigarette and handed the lighter to Berry. "You okay?" He asked. He could see that something was wrong. Did they have a fire addiction?

"I run an entire zone." Dedan retorts. He didn't know exactly what a state was, but he guessed it was similar to a zone. "I have to supply the other zones with smoke, meat, plastic, and metal, so I'm pretty sure I do a hell of a lot more than you." He says, and turns around. Seeing Berry and Aline were gone, he shouts. "_____ GREAT."

"We... Um... We broke our inhaler." Berry explains, taking the lighter and trying to look for something worth burning. Something that would give off a lot of smoke for the two to share.

Aline sighs, frowning in annoyance at how Berry only explained part of the situation. "We need smoke to breathe... Broke inhaler, so no smoke." She rasps out, crossing her arms as she watched her friend with wide black eyes. "Hard to breathe here." She says simply. Aline didn't seem to have a firm grasp on the rules of language yet.

Gamzee blinked, clenching his fists, "It'S nOt A cOsPlAy!" He stomped hus foot once again.

"Ever tried diggin' for oil or raisin' a bunch of cattle? Not to mention all the issues that come with it and Ric had a weather mishap recently." James retorted. Said mishap brought a blizzard in the middle of October, killing most, if not all, cattle in South Dakota. He looked over at the area behind Dedan. "What, missin' yer friends?" He asked tauntingly. He looked over at Gamzee when he appeared to throw a fit. "Yeah man, totally real." He said sarcastically.

Cronus pondered over this a moment before tossing them his pack of cigarettes. "Here, this giwves off smoke, see?" He said as he waved his lit cigarette a bit.
