I frowned when he said he had been locked up half his life, but I could tell he didn't want to talk about it so I let it go. "I-I probably should have, shouldn't I. Sorry, I don't think sometimes," I said with a sigh. I spotted another book that I needed and pulled it from the shelf. "What books do I have left to get?"

"Uhh, Magical Theory, One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi, Magical Drafts and Potions... And I think that's it." I replied, secretly thankful she didn't press on my past. "And don't worry about the cauldron thing. Pottage's Cauldron Shop's just across thee street."

Diana walked into the leaky Cauldren, looking to see if any of her friends were there. Seeing no one, she continued to Diagon Alley and headed for the robe shop to get new school robes.

I nodded, looking to see if I could find any of the titles. I spotted Magical Theory on a shelf not to far from where we were. I scooted down so I could reach it and pulled it off of the shelf. "Two to go," I said. I hoped I would be able to carry all of these books.

"And I think Magical Herbs and Fungi is over here," I said, walking towards the back of the shop. I spotted Magical Drafts and Potions on the way, and took it off the shelf.

I grabbed the last book on the list and stacked on top of the rest of the pile. "Okay, n-now we just need to buy them," I said. I made my way to the counter, trying to balance all the books on top of each other. When I set them down on the counter a couple fell off the top and crashed to the counter. "Oops," I mumbled. I pulled out a handful of the strange looking coins wizards used for money and tried to figure out which ones I needed

I saw her confusion, and lifted three sickles and two knuts from her hand, handing it to the shop keeper.
"Thank you," I smiled at him, and helped Rose with her books.
"You can put them in my cauldron for now, if you want,"I offered, though wondering if my arms could take the weight of more books. "Just until you get a cauldron."

I picked up the rest of my books and turned to Elwin. "Thanks for helping me with the money. It's another thing I'm not used to," I said, looking past him at his cauldron, seeing how full it already was, piled with all of his stuff. "A-and I can manage carrying these for now. You have enough to carry already."
