"You were killed by ice. It neutralizes fire. It's possible you might regain the power eventually, though. You'll have to ask mum or dad, they'd know."

Kelta gestured for Hadron to follow her as she trotted to a small cave. "In here." She said,

Hadron followed her, walking into the cave. "Mum? Dad?" He called.

His mom walked out of the shadows of the cave, in her human form. His dad followed, also in his human form. "Hadrian!" His mom cried. She ran to him, and hugged him. "We're so glad to see you."

Relief flooded him, its had been so long since he'd heard their voices, he'd never had anyone to comfort him like parents could. He hugged her back. "I'm glad to see you too."

"What was the human world like? Any different than when we escaped them to find the island?" His dad asked. "I doubt humans have changed much."

Kyra, hearing footsteps, looked around and watched Selena as she walked away. Huh. I wonder where she's going? She thought silently to herself, tilting her head to the side, and simply shrugged.
