Seeing her chance, Selena got up and snuck up behind David while he was walking, and kicked him head first down the hill. "
That's for breaking me and Tyra's hearts!" She yelled, satisfied.

David yelped in shock as he rolled down the hill, hitting his head on a tree. He groaned, getting to his feet.

Nayla turned his head, gasping as the stranger kicked David. "H-hey!" He yowled. "That's n-not very nice!"

After watching David fall, Selena heard the kids, left alone. "Oh no, Kyra's not here to care for you." She thought as she came up to them. "Want to come to my house for tonight? I'm Selena." She said comfortingly.

The two children quickly shifted into humans, and then back to wolves as the strange girl suddenly picked them up. Wailing, they flailed around their paws, trying to get back to either their father or Tyna.

"I'll get Tyna soon, I promise." Selena murmured as she gently carried them back to her house. She set them down and quickly fashioned cribs of ice and laid blankets in them. She sat down on the floor with them and rained little snowflakes down to amuse them.

Accalia kept wailing loudly, while her brother watched the snowflakes with curiosity. As a snowflake landed on Nordah's nose, he sneezed loudly, and started pawing at them as they fell through the air.

Selena stroked Acallia comfortingly and put a blanket around her, as she realized the floor must be cold to them, although it felt fine to her. She sprinkled more snowflakes for Nordah, and smiled.

David leaned against the tree, watching as Selena took his children away. Be sighed. "Maybe I should go back to my home." He looked down as he started walking back to the harbour.
