Saber smiled. He started talking cutely to her.

"What? What are you trying to say? Come on, you can do it. Can you say mama? Or papa?"

Nebula struggled to form a word. She failed miserably, only able to make rather alarming noises. She stared at him with a frown. She looked almost sad now.

Saber looked concerned.

"Hey, hey. Don't be sad. Listen, Nebula. These things take time. You'll eventually get it."

(Well, Saber's taking Star to Dusk.)

"Dusk! Our little daughter wants you."

Nebula looked even more crestfallen. She looked away from him, still frowning deeply.

Ratchet was going over the data pad. He almost looked worried, but attempted to mask it witg boredom.

Saber sighed.

"I have an idea. Do you want to see Grandpa Ratchet?"

Nebula looked excited suddenly. She wiggled like a pleased slug and beamed at her new parents.

Saber chuckled.

"Alright, come on. Hey, Ratchet? Your granddaughter wants to see you!"

Ratchet looked up, and said,"I was just about to call you in. If this data pad is correct, she needs to be examined now."
