name: brandeis minié
age: seventeen.
gender: female.
species: human.
appearance: a pale, flat-chested girl with conspicuous blue hair and eyes. despite standing a tad bit below average height ( she's about 5'2" ), she has enough muscle to wield MACR and is actually fairly strong in physical terms.
clothes: brandeis dons a notable brown coat with a short sleeve, revealing a long-neck black shirt with her symbol sewn into the front ( a reticle with sharp points on the outer circle ). her coat has three clasps with blue buttons, and fur around the neck and inside of her hood. her pants ( the same color as the buttons ) have three holes on either side. she wears brown combat boots with a baby blue bandanna tied around her left leg.
special ability: is this like semblance? if so, her semblance is called 'focus'. it allows her to easily pinpoint and highlight things in the environment, such as weak points on an enemy or knick-knacks that could be of use. she can only use it once or twice every few hours and can't use it for long, else she suffers headaches. her aura is a baby blue in cover ( same as her eyes and bandanna ).
weapon + weapon abilities: multi-action chainsaw rifle, also known as MACR and dubbed placidia beau. it looks exactly how it sounds; a chainsaw that transforms into a long rifle. in rifle form, the chainsaw blade slides back so the spikes line across the muzzle of the gun, with the handles of the chainsaw connected to the butt of the gun. when she sheathes her weapon ( typically keeping it on the back of her waist ) the muzzle/chainsaw blade - depending on which form it's in - folds inwards into the handle/butt of the gun, allowing it to be easily carried around ( see her picture ).
bio: brandeis grew up in a life of crime; a dust thief and petty criminal, she managed to evade the law with a mixture of luck and remarkable skill. she sold what dust she could grab to whoever had the best price, until one day she was sabotaged by her employer and arrested. given two options, she was told she could either bide her time in prison or join beacon academy ( a request from professor ozpin after noticing her fighting abilities ). taking the easy way out, she chose the latter, but doesn't plan on sticking around for long.

Name: Ilyse Irving
Age: Seventeen
Gender: Female
Are you a faunas or a human?: Faunus
Appearance: Ilyse's hair is grey, and cut just above her shoulders all around. Her eyes are a dark brown that look practically black, and over all she's fairly pale. Around her eyes, however, the skin is naturally a bit darker like a raccoon's mask, although whether this is due to her being a faunus or just a birthmark is unknown. She has the tail of a common raccoon, and while she does have muscle, it's not horribly noticeable at first glance. She's very quick, with good reflexes and flexibility however, which she uses to her advantage. Her tail helps with balance.
Clothes: She wears a dark green tank top and dark grey jeans with a short black skirt over it. She has a short black jacket as well, which is never zipped up. She wears short black boots, and has a gold and silver marble on a chocker around her neck.
Your special ability ( Make sure no one has it ): Her semblance is the ability to flash forward a few feet on command. She must already be in motion for it to work, and there's a limited range, she can't go further than five feet in one go. There's a 'cool down' of about five minutes. Her aura is a pale lavender that borders on grey.
Weapon(s)+ Weapon abilities: Ilyse uses a longsword in one hand and a dagger in the other, mostly for blocking. The pommels can lock together, making a double bladed sword, as well. The longsword and dagger are named Raisa and Briar, respectively. 'Brirais' tends to be what she calls them combined.
Bio ( This doesn't have to be all of your past ): Ilyse's parents were very active protesters about how faunus were treated, but that was never something that she had wanted to do. From the moment she had heard the stories of the hunters and huntresses, that was what she had wanted to do, and was what she worked towards, training hard to become a capable fighter. It became a bit of a struggle when her mother was killed at a protest, as her father became incredibly overprotective of her. It got so bad that she actually had to run away to enroll at Beacon, but she did. At first she considered trying to hide her faunus origins, but decided that it would be too difficult to hide her tail.
