"What did you want me to do about your brother?" I asked softly

"I don't know. I can't send him to jail......everyone else depends on him." Sammi said quietly.

[MidnightMyth]

"Do you want me to press charges. He wont go to jail if I do that" I said, "I'll say it was a stray bullet."

"No. I don't want to press charges. He's my own brother." Sammi said. She brushed her hair away from her face and shook her head.

I sighed and dropped my head. "Well if he doesnt knock it off. The police will be after me next" I muttered

"Jake. I'm sorry. He's my brother." Sammi started crying softly. She felt like she had to choose between Jake and her brother. SHe knew she shouldn't care about her brother because of the way he treated her but she couldn't.

"One day I'll have no choice to press charges on him" I said softly

Sammi shook her head again. "Jake, you can't. He hasn't done anything major to you yet and until he does you can't do anything. she needed to talk to someone who hadn't been there.

I shook my head taking a deep breath. "I gotta go get some air." I said finally and stood back up and walked out of the room to go outside. Jazz watched me go and felt bad for Sammi again but she knew i had a point.

Sammi looked up at Jazz. "Are they coming here?" she asked. She figured since she had talked to them she would know.
