Andy and Jazz looked at me with the death stare. Then Chase and Levi gave me the same cold look. Without saying anything Andy walked up and slapped me across the face. "HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!?" She hissed. "That girl has risked everything to be here, to be with you and you just come out and say that!?" She growled through her teeth. My face stung and i was in shock not even looking at her head on only from the corner of my eye. " 'Spawn of Darrell' " She said in a harsh voice mocking my deep tone. "I thought you were more Jake. I really did." She sighed. Then Jazz walked over. "Some big brother you are" She said and walked with Andy to their room to be with Sammie. "I dont even know what to say Jake. I really dont" Chase said and he and Levi walked to their room and i was left in the center of the living room. I honestly didnt know what to do then and there. Except...breathe. My jaw stung like a thousand bees but my stomach was filled to the breaking point. I could feel each stinger and just that rage they held.

Sammi sat on her bed with her head in her hands. She didn't know if this was something forgivable. Yes, Stephen looked like Darrel but he acted so much like Sammi.

"Sammie?" Andy asked quietly as she walked in. both of them saw her there on the bed and sighed. Exchanging looks they really felt bad for her.

Thats when i snapped out of it. I rushed out the door and down the stairs catching her brother before he left in his car. "Wait..Just hold on" I said as i stopped by his window

Sammi looked up. "Is he mad at me?" she asked quietly.

Stephen rolled down the window. "What do you want?"

"I-I wanted to say that..I'm sorry..for what i said." I said looking down at my feet then to him.

"No of course not Sammie." Andy said and put her arm around her comfortingly. "We are the ones mad at him. He had no place to say that" Jazz added kneeling in front of her.

"But you still aren't going to let my sister come live with me. I haven't seen her in six years!" Stephen said without looking at him. He sighed and shook his head.

"I know he didn't mean it that way. It just hurts that he would even say that to him. he doesn't know who Stephen is and he basically said the same things about me." Sammi told them. She didn't know where Jake was.

"Listen, Jake...he doesnt take to too many people so easily. Its nothing against you at all. Its more with Darrel. In his mind, being Darrel's brother is like being Darrel's clone. Jake is too quick to judge sometimes." Jazz said softly.

"Well listen. I can let you see her but there is no way she will live with you." I said softly and lowered my head.

"I just need to get away from it all for a little. Maybe it would be better if I went to go live with Stephen." Sammi said quietly without looking at them.

"You don''t have control over her. She will do what she wants. Please don't try to stop her if she wants too." Stephen answered. He rolled up the window and drove away.

I sighed and went back towards the building. Sliding down the wall to the ground i sat there my head in my hands. Now what I had said earlier had hit me. I regretted it more than anything.

"Sammie...how would it be if Jazz and I spent a couple days with you and Stephen?" Andy suggested. "Jake doesnt even have to know, We'll tell him we are going on a girl vacay or something."

"That sounds amazing. I don't want to lie to him though. I just don't know what to do!" Sammi said. She was frustrated and unhappy. She stood up and started packing.
