Jazz and I watched from behind. This was going alright at the moment so I could relax a bit more

Sammi stepped back. "Where have you been?" she asked softly. She stepped back next to Jake and sighed.

"Around. I wanted to ask you if you want to come live with me and a few of my friends.

I didn't like the sound of that at all...no one did it all showed on their faces

Sammi leaned into Jake. "No." she said firmly.

"It's a big house. You can bring all of your friends with you." Stephen said desperately.

"She doesn't want to" I told him putting an arm around her.

"I haven't seen you in forever. Just come stay for a week. Please." Stephen asked, stepping towards them.

Sammi looked up at Jake. "i don't know. I think I belong here."

I didnt say anything but just looked at her brother almost moving towards him but Chase's hand stopped me as he slapped it down on my shoulder

Sammi slipped her hand into Jake's she didn't know what he would do to her brother. She bit her lip and looked up at him. "He said you guys could come."

Stephen watched them without saying anything.

"Im not risking my family..." I said slowly in a low tone not taking my eyes from him. Everyone's eyes were now on me. They knew i was standing my ground. "Not with the spawn of Darrell" I spat with a hiss

"Get out Stephen." Sammi said sharply. She turned away from Jake and walked into her room. She was still Darrel's sister and Stephen was more like her. She felt like he had just said that her and Darrel were alike.

Stephen turned and walked out of the apartment.
