"So Jayde. What is this list that Darrel has?" I asked getting the two out of la la land.

Jayde looked at Jake. "Oh. Well, it's all the people that he couldn't stand. Sammi and you are at the top and I think that's why he shot Sammi in the first place. Stephen was after you guys...and we all know how that went." she took the list and handed it to him. "I'm even on it."

Sammi sighed and looked down at the list. "Those are all of my friends."

I looked down at this list and scanned through the names seeing boys i knew along with their girlfriends, some crossed out some not. I reached the bottom and froze and tensed up. "How long has he had this list?" I asked with a growl not taking my eyes off the paper

"I don't know. It was pretty long when he first showed it to me. Why?" Jayde glanced at Chase again and looked away quickly.

Sammi looked up at Jake. "Who is it Jake?" None of the names stood out to her except her Jake and Stephens.

I clamped the paper in a fist and sighed tossing it onto the table and putting one finger over a name crossed out. [i]Marie[/url] it read in Darrel's handwriting. "You know who this is?" I asked out loud and the boys looked at it. Both of their eyes glued and wide on their faces

Sammi had no idea what was going on. She looked at Jayde and shrugged.

Jayde bit her lip. She knew everyone would be upset but she hadn't known it would happen like this.

"Marie is my mother" I said and looked up at the four of them. "He was the one that killed my mother."

Sammi shook her head. "He couldn't have. He wasn't like this before." she dropped her head into her hands. Everything about her brother had just been changed. She knew she shouldn't be the one crying right now.

Jayde grabbed the list and shook her head. She had been there that night. "He....he....just." she stopped herself before she said anything stupid. She hadn't even known who it had been.

"Well he went from the bottom of my list to the very top" I said and leaned back on the couch. "For once...he is above my dad"

"Jake, don't do anything drastic. If you get caught. If you get caught then there won't be a wedding. At all." Sammi said. She looked at him and sighed.

Jayde looked at Sammi. "A wedding?!"
