"Oh, I can answer the door dont worry about it" I said and put an arm around her and smiled

"You need to rest to. Is no one else here?" Sammi looked up at him and smiled. "I'm pretty sure Chase or Levi could answer the door."

Jayde walked up the stairs to the door of the apartment. She looked at the list she held in her hand and bit her lip. When she had helped him write the list she hadn't known what he was going to do with it. She knocked on the door and waited.

"Dont worry i got the door baby" I said and got up with a kiss on her lips and answered the door seeing Jayde standing there. "Hey Jayde, come on in Sammi's in the bedroom"

Jayde smiled nervously. "Alright." she bit her lip and tucked the list back into her pocket.

Sammi got back up and sighed. Her and Jayde had never been on the best terms.

I sensed both the nervousness of her and the tension in the other room and helped Sammi keep weight off her bad leg letting her lean on me.

Sammi looked up at him and smiled. "Hey, Jayde.." she said quietly. She bit her lip and looked up at Jake again. "We may want to include Chase and Levi in this."

Jake looked around the apartment. She had never actually been inside and she didn't know how much time she would be spending here.

"Chase Levi!" I called into the bed room and i heard them walking out and soon came into view. "Whats goin on?" Levi asked as they helped Sammi to the couch and i stood there

Sammi pulled her feet under her and looked at the two of them. "Darrel...he....killed Stephen." she closed her eyes as it hit her all over again.

Jayde stood there looking at Chase. She didn't remember ever seeing him before. "Uh...I'm uh Jayde."

I wrapped my arms around her softly and they shook their heads. Then Chase looked up at her. "I know who you are" He chuckled

Jayde blushed. "I wish I could say the same about you" she bit her lip and looked at the ground, smiling shyly.

Sammi laid her head on Jake's shoulder. She watched Jayde and Chase. She had never seen this side of Jayde and she was starting to like it.
