"I have to ask cause i am a little confused here..Why didnt you want us to fight in the first place? I mean i got an explination from my sister but not from you" I said and invited her to sit down with my shirt over my arm

Sammi blushed again. "Jake......I like you." she said quietly, sitting down and looking at the floor. She glanced p at im throgh her hair and then looked back down.

My eyes shot open and i looked at her. "You..like me?" I asked with a bit of surprise. She wouldnt see it until she looked up but i had a big smile on my face and bright eyes.

Sammi nodded and looked over. She couldn't help smiling back at him, hoping he felt the same way. She pushed her hair away from her face and looked back down.

"If i didnt like you would i have tried to save you?" I smiled down at her bringing her eyes up to mine again. "I like you too...but you know before we really get to you know going out...I have this thing about earning trust..Its not that i dont trust you..its just some weird psychological thing with me" I chuckled

"I understand. What do you think your friends will say? They will always know me as what I used to be." Sammi told him. She smiled and moved the red hair out of her eyes. She had always loved the color and no one else had.

I smiled and put my hand on her's. "I'll tell them they are gonna have to live with it" I smiled. "Sure they wont warm up to you..Maybe Andy would but she's iffy. Did you like Jazz at least?" I asked with a smile

"Yeah. Jazz is great. She might not understand what I'm going through but it still helps to have a girl to talk to." Sammi told him. She smiled and stood up. "Can we go tell them now?"

"Uh. I guess. They wont like it so be ready for some screamin from them..probably me too" I said with a shrug and stood up.

"That's fine. I'm used to screaming." Sammi told him. She sighed and smiled at him. "I'm used to almost everything. I don't think anything will surprise me.
