The Doctor ran around the control panel of the TARDIS, randomly pushing buttons to get her out of the tail spin she had fallen in... right around a black hole. Without a chance of escape, he watched the monitors as they drew closer, and he concluded that there was no escape. He stroked the side of the panel, "I don't think we're getting out of this, girl," he said quietly, closing his eyes as the intense gravity drew them in.
All was quiet. Too quiet. The Doctor stirred, finding himself thrown to the ground below. "How...?" he asked aloud, knowing the TARDIS herself couldn't respond. Rushing to the door, he opened it a crack, daylight streaming in. He stuck his tongue out to test the oxygen quality, finding it to be the same as on Earth, as well as the gravity. In fact, everything was the same as a Minnesota corn field, town included. Stepping out, screwdriver in hand, he looked around for any life at all, but preferably not Daleks or Cybermen.
...
Estella groaned, opening her eyes to see endless fields of corn. Wondering if it was a surprise simulation, she drove to a row of corn, poking it with a tire to find that it was real. Now confused, she looked for some sort of road, now looking for anyone else who could help her get home or at least find out where she was.
