Isao walked down the street, a bored expression on his face. He had survived youma attacks, finally managed to fight back his fears and confess to Makoto, and now here he was. Stuck in some freaky city that had not brought him any fights as of yet. As far as Isao was concerned, the next person he met had better be ready to fight, cause Isao's fists were aching to deliver a good old beatdown.

I looked around again. There had to be someone I knew... Light, Aizawa... I'd even take Matsuda right now. Upon not looking where I was going, though, I ran straight into a boy, who looked extremely aggressive. I didn't say anything. Just stopped and looked at him. It was always better to let the other person get in the first word. I put my hands in my jeans pockets, and interlocked my toes. I probably looked extremely weird. Sleep deprived, barefoot... In a place like this. I even stood out amount the crowd of weirdos.

Isao looked at the boy who had bumped into him, his electric-blue eyes sparking with anger. "Hey, you looking for a fight, punk?" He would have gone on, but Isao finally took in the entire appearance of the guy. He looked to be overly deprived of sleep, with black rings around his eyes. The guy didn't have any shoes on either. Waving a hand in dismissal andbsticking the other in his pocket, Isao walked past the kid, a bored expression on his face once more. "Never mind. I don't pick on those weaker than me, and you probably couldn't even hurt a fly. How boring."

I didn't look after the man, but merely said,

It wasn't that I had any desire to make a scene, just that I wanted him not to overlook me. Maybe he'd even be helpful in tracking people down. Knowing people in an unusual situation was extremely useful, even enemies. My chance to get to know someone would not slip out of my grasp.
