Being the youngest twin, Kaoru is sweet, caring, and kind. He's a little bit more mature than his brother, Hikaru, despite being younger. He has a better "grip on reality" compared to Hikaru, thus always being drug along with his ideas.

Mitsukuni harbors a very sweet disposition, a friendly smile always present on his face. He's kind to everyone, and almost appears vacant o dim-witted at times, but that's far from the truth. He's easily able to discern the truth and understand situations that are going on around him despite the cute way that he acts. He has a love of sweets, still eating large amounts of them as an adult, for he could never give up on his favorite passtime. Although much more frowned upon in the adult world, the blonde man is still carrying around his stuffed pink rabbit that he named Usa. He had become more serious and stoic at first when he opened up his dojo, longing for the old days of being in the Host Club, where he could relax and be who he wanted to be, lazing around and eating cake with his beloved cousin at his side. He had been in mourning of his old life when he got the call from Kyoya, talking about opening up of a new Host Club, this one an actual establishment. Curious on what it would entail and delighted to be able to spend more time with his friends, the blonde instantly agreed to such a thing, abandoning practically all of his responsibilities at the dojo that he opened to be a host once more. He still owns the dojo, and makes frequent visits. But, he lets someone else make all the shots for the moment. He's much happier being with all of his old high school friends.
