"Wow." Was all I could manage to say. Then I laughed. "And meanwhile, I've been hopelessly searching Kira fan sites," I added with a smile. So, L suspected Light Yagami? I took a pen from being my ear, where I always had one, and scribbled the name on my hand. I'd have to look him up.
"Congratulate Misaki for me, won't you?" I said to Kyandī. This was a great lead. With this, we just might catch Kira.

"Run a test. Check for any hackers. I don't need others finding out about us," Near says, tilting his head to the side as he lifts up the Kira toy. Near stares it as he twirl a lock of hair around his finger. "Lets hope the other citizens stay out of this. We are dealing with a powerful being. Do the daily screening," he adds, setting the toy down before pulling a deck of cards close.
